First time trying to repair a club.  My stock shaft snapped and I'm tying to glue a new shaft in it. Is the 906f a bore thur? Do I need to install a new shaft pin or can the old pin just stay in it. Should the shaft go all the way through to the bottom? To the point where I have to trim it at the sole of the club?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

yes its a bore through. Put the shaft in without glue and take a pencil and mark the angle. Take it back out and cut it. That way you won't have to sand it down when its glued in and you won't risk hurting the finish of the club. Make sure it sits flush when your gluing and let it dry. Then plug it with a bore thru plug and your good to go!

So i may have jumped the gun. Will it effect playability or damage the club(fly off the hosel) if 0.25" of the pin was left in and i just put the shaft in. Or should I pull it and start over? Also to add the club rattles a little bit.
