Is there a quick way to find a specific post number? Some members refer to post numbers in other threads, but no link (that I can see) is provided. Is there a way to find these posts without having to guess which page number in the discussion they may be on? Thanks.

Just keep hitting "next". Each post has their number in the upper right corner of the post using the regular theme. However, if using mobile, they are not visibly numbered.

I believe there are 30 posts per page of a thread, (expect for the first, which has 29) so a little simple division should help you at least find what page the post is on.  Hope this helps!

Okay, let's say you are trying to find post #4160 in the 9/3 Drill and much..much..more thread...

Get the URL of the topic: copy it from the address bar.

Go to Google and enter this in the search box:

site:http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/146842-93-drill-and-muchmuchmore/page__st__7860

Note there are no spaces.

Now you only want the thread URL without other page/post references in it, so strip out anything after the referenced title -- in this case, you would delete "page__st__7860"

So we now have this in the Google search box:

site:http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/146842-93-drill-and-muchmuchmore/

Now add one space at the end and add the post number you are searching for. In this instance:

site:http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/146842-93-drill-and-muchmuchmore/ 4160

Click the search button,

You should get a return linking to the page that contains the desired post number.

I'm guessing this only works with bigger numbers, but we'll see.

Let me know your results with this search tactic here, thanks. :)

Asleep - thanks for the suggestion.

I tried it as you described (using Firefox 19.0) but the browser just strips out the post number and takes me to page 1 of the forum topic. I tried several other ways too - no space before the number, using the hash etc - but still didn't work. Guess I'll stick to the arithmetical way for now. Cheers.
