Owned both and I like the Hoofer. Better top configuration, better fit to body, better pocket configuration and better material.

One thing I really don't like about the Titleist bags is that the legs go out so far that if you stand between them and the bag and try to pick it up, the legs run into your legs.

I also have the Titleist Ultra Lightweight and its a really good carry bag. Really light and compact, main pocket is huge and I like the top. I think it's better than the 4 Series.

I really wish Titlest would make an all white or just use 2 colors instead of 3.

Any other comments on these two bags?  I've also narrowed down my new bag to these choices.  After looking at these bags in the store I've come up with the following:

Titleist Lightweight
Pros: color choices, strap, size of top/dividers
Cons: pocket layout, material durability

Hoofer
Pros: pocket layout, material
Cons: color choices, snagging of clubs, straps

I'm leaning towards the Titleist, but am looking for some more opinions. Any help would be appreciated.

I just realized my hoofer is now 15 months old and still looks great. It's in and out of my trunk daily. I've never had a Sun Mountain made bag last that long FWIW. ...and I have the all white Hoofer too.

Have always had Titleist bags, but am strongly considering a Hoofer. My only complaint with the lightweight is if you use 4 clubs or more with headcovers (woods and hybrids), it does get crowded at the top and makes it difficult to get them in and out. The Hoofer top configuration looks to be slightly larger for this setup, but someone please chime in if this isn't correct. The Titleist 14 way lightweight would solve all of this I guess but I do like the looks of the Hoofer more. That new G25 edition of the Hoofer looks sweet!

I don't think the Hoofer is the anser if you are looking to get clubs into and out really easily. It doesn't bother me though. A tight fit creates snug clubs that don't get as much bag chatter as 14 way dividers that allow clubs to bang around like crazy.
