Same here, got a brand new pair of Ecco Bioms that rip a hole in my heel every time I've worm them (walking rounds)Never had any issues with Eccos before but I sense they are going downhill. GS didn't have my size but really like the look and feel of these
I've had the same problem with my Ecco GTX. I had a pair that I loved so when they wore out I bought two more and they give terrible blisters. Comparing them to the old model they have not padding in the heel which I think is the difference.

What the hell. This is stupid. I will call FJ customer support to see if in fact they have created a shoe for right handers. I don't see anything on the website about a left handed pair. If it doesn't matter then why did they do it ?

What the heck? I doubt the shoes are designed with a left-hand or right-hand bias.
It's almost like you received two different shoes or something? Or just an error that made it off the line?

Nope. That's how they're designed as far as I can tell.

I have never had a comfortable pair of GOLF shoes in my life, I wear Vibram, 5 finger shoes most of the time, I've had ECCO's, Foot Joys, and others but haven't bought shoes in a long time.
I decided I needed something because I am in Canada and when it is cold and rainy the vibrams are cold.
So being the computer guy I am I started searching online for the most comfortable golf shoe out there and I kept reading that True's we like wearing slippers, Ecco Biom Hybrid were good and a few others.
So off to golf town I go with a plan, I hate to shop but I was willing to spend 2 or 3 hours trying on shoes and walking around in them until I found one pair that I could walk 18 holes in and not wish I was done by the 13th hole.
I tried on 2 different styles of Trues (the kid at golftown told me he had NEVER been asked to try them before) a Callaway a couple different Eccos, and multiple other shoes, the trues were OK (I do have wide feet) but not great, I was expecting to say OMG these are great, but they were just OK, so being as they are REALLY ugly, I wasn't sold.
Then another kid comes up and says try these and hands me the FJ MProject Spikeless Wide fit 11.5 like all the others I had tried and I put it on and it was the OMG I was thinking would happen with Trues. Now these are nothing to write home about as far as looks go either but my main concern is comfort, rainproof, grip, then style.
So I left the M Project on one foot for the next hour and tried on more trues, Eccos, and on and on, nothing came close to the comfort of these spikeless little gems.
I really think I will be able to walk 18 no problem, they are so light and comfortable, they come in different widths which is good.
I like the look of the leather better but I wanted spikeless, I would have liked to see a spikeless leather with boa just to see how they look and feel.
So I wore the M Proj for at least an hour on one foot, the trues started bugging me after 15 mins. Then I put the M Proj on both feett for a while and went to the mat and hit a few balls, they grip like crazy glue on the dry mat, not sure about wet turf.
I can't wait to try these on the course.
I just went and checked after reading the post above and they are indeed made for right handed golfers with spikes rounded up on the inside of the right shoe and outside of the left shoe.
I will come back and post how they were after 18. I seriously have not walked 18 holes in 10 years because my feet get so sore, I had to do it earlier this year because they wouldn't allow carts because of all the rain and I ended up taking off my shoe and socks on the 12th hole and going barefoot in the cold wet grass.

An update to my earlier post, lost a spike in the heel every round I played by the turn. Returned them for something different.

I've come to like the BOA system. Have a pair of boa icons as well.

I'm pretty sure they didn't make a "righties only" shoe.
