Hey Everyone,

I thought I'd add a new section for some other old stuff that I thought some of you might enjoy.  I call this "Area '62" for multiple reasons - the main being that it was the year of my birth (Circa, if you will - ha!).  I thought we could have a little fun going through some old and sometimes crazy ideas, inventions, drawings and whatnot.   I'll try to keep this one simple and a quick read.  Longer drawn out stories and Texas Tales will still go in the larger Davey's Locker blog and thread.

So first up for Area '62 is a photo taken in our second corporate headquarters, circa 1995 (the first Dogleg Right corporate headquarters was my kitchen, den and garage, back in '94).  Anyway, this was our Tracy Street address, and you can see a variety of HOG Putters lining the partitions that separated our office space from the warehouse and factory in the back.

I chose to share this photo because of all the attention lately to black and white golf clubs...  Note the black and white HOG in the right hand side of the photo.

That's a HOG 1001 with black and white head, black graphite shaft from G. Loomis, and a white ceramic face plate from Coors Cerasports.  The contrast of the white topline against the black head, and white alignment mark was awesome.  The ceramic made the putter feel like butter too.  It was removable and interchangable for loft.  The grips were approx. 1.2" in diameter, yet only weighed 60 grams.

Crazy!  lol

Cheers,

-Dave

PS: That poster says "Porko" BTW.   lol
