How do the short irons compare. I've heard the h4 is like a players club in the pw-8i. Also if I got the h4 3 iron bent 1* strong would it hit as far as my hybrid of the same loft.

The 8i-PW has less offset in the MP-64 line (0.106) compared to the progressive offset in the H4s. Otherwise, the short irons are essentially the same.

Are you asking if the H4 3i had the same loft as your hybrid, will it go as far? Probably not.

I'm pretty sure Mizuno will not adjust the loft on the H4 long irons due to the hollow construction, i've seen that listed on their site somewhere.

The short irons are really not that dissimilar in the shorter irons but obviously the difference between the two sets grows the longer the iron gets.
