Probably my 35 footer at the courd alene junior championship

Are you trying to get enough posts to participate in the BST by digging up 4-year-old and older threads?

really not needed!

I cant for the life of me see what good criticizing someone for posting in an old thread does for anyone. Seems to me if your are done with it and don't want to add to the conversation you could just not open the thread you know!

Attempting to defame or make a skeptical of a poster because they brought up an old thread that interests them only shows childish self-centered behavior by those that reply in such a manor!

Be nice! If you don’t want to participate in an old thread. Don’t open it. Simple as that.

^^^^ I'd suggest checking the poster in question's pattern of posts before running off at the mouth.

I did not run off at the mouth my friend. I stated the truth. Calling someone out on a forum over bring up an old post is just a childish temper tantrum or a display of self conceived superiority!

Regardless of the poster’s previous posting pattern calling him out or making insinuations is not adult behavior and did the post no good what so ever.

For some reason this person gets under your craw. Best way to avoid that is just to ignore the topics he posts. I don't know the guy but I do expect regardless of who post what, adult decorum would be observed. Nothing the poster said was in anyway insulting or demeaning to you or anyone. So where is your honest grip? In what way is this person causing any problem for you or the rest of the forum?

Everyone here deserves equal respect. We are free to debate. We are not free to defame.

My honest gripe is this:  I  *normally* don't have to look at the age of a thread before opening it.  Matter of fact, on my iphone that piece of information doesn't even show.

So I open a bunch of threads in other tabs, and then when I go into read, I'll see that most of them are 4 years old, with innocent folks not noticing that fact and giving advice to someone (the original poster) that is long gone.  He will go on a spree and open a bunch of old threads and drop in a drive-by comment in each one.

My comments are not defamation of character.  :)

When I first started playing golf I was with my father in law who started me out on the game. He is a scratch golfer who hits the ball a mile.
Well one day we played and somehow it came down to the 18th... we were tied. We were 135 yards out I identical lies I went first... mind you I was new to the game at the time. Always wanted to beat him.
I pull my 7 and ( mind you now i hit my 7 160 and up) but anyway then I hit it 120 and up.... Anyway I hit that thing flush.. Perfect high draw lands and sticks 3 foot from the cup.
Tap in birdie for win and I have that ball on my mantle... 1st and only time I have ever beat my father in law... still remember that shot.
