Even more pissed that I am having to source a replacement from the UK as the TMAG reps response has been silence so far.
Everywhere stocks the shoes, nowhere has replacements.
Welcome to the Middle East..... :-/

i know normally spikes are loosely attached onto golf shoes, also goes for other types of detachable cleats as well, at the factory and most have a sticker or something advising you to tighten them properly once you purchase the shoe/cleat.

The spikes/cleats are s***.
Had all of them tightened before I played on Friday, two popped out on the 3rd tee (it is the outside 2 on my left foot that are the issue), put them both back in.
Repeat ad infinitum.
I love the shoes, this new attachment system is rubbish.
I am going to apply a small amount of super glue to form a seal on the two problem spikes, but in a place i can get through it when I need to change them
Tellingly, the only place in Dubai that carries replacements at this point is the locker room at Emirates Golf Club. The guys in there were good enough ti replace all the ones I lost for free.
Reason they have them? The Desert Classic was in town a few weeks ago, a week or so after the launch of the shoes, the tour guys were facing the same issue.
FJ are moving to this system in some of there 13 line as well just for a heads up.

So are these the "Fast Twist" system that Footjoy uses? I've never had a problem with Fast Twist spikes coming out, and I walk about half of my rounds. Perhaps you have a problem with the receptacle on the shoe. If they're fairly new I'd try getting a replacement pair as this sounds like a shoe problem more than a spike problem.
Edit: I just looked at the Footjoy web site and they evidently use the "PINS" system on one model new shoe. This supposedly comes on your shoe also. Callaway uses this spike too in their new models. This design is made to make the spike system lower to the ground. It sounds like they may have a problem with quality control.

I would have blamed the individual pair until the guys in the locker room said they were forever replacing them for the guys playing the Desert Classic.
Ah well, will find a work around somehow

I got a pair of these and the cleats can be removed by hand pretty easily - it only takes about a half turn or so and they're off! I've not used them yet so wouldn't know if this will be a real world problem or not. Is a little worrying though.

Not a bad idea. Have you tried lock-tite? It's for locking threads on fixings in mechanical engineering but they can be undone if needed, just won't work loose.

What did they say?
Nothing.
There is one guy that is the TMAG rep in Dubai, he is the friend of a friend of a friend
A request went through that netowrk, no response.
Posed the question on the TMAG Middle East Facebook page - nothing
Even tweeted Adidas Golf - nothing.
None of the retailers that stock the shoe are able to get stock at this point.
Would rather support want appears to be a family run business in the UK in that case so ordered replacements via them
nb - the above is pretty standard customer service out here, a 3rd world country in a 7 star wrapper

Thanks.
Guess that is a US number?
If so, as above would rather pay someone who was happy to go the extra mile and make sure the replacements I was about to buy from them would fit.

I think there's reason to be hopeful that this is not a general problem. No doubt other shoe brands have lost a spike or two when new. I know I've had that happen to me with other shoes, and I now take the trouble to tighten the spikes on new shoes as a matter of "policy."

After hearing all this it makes me thankful I have Footjoys. I know that isn't solving your problem but maybe by exposing this, Adidas will learn to be a bit more concerned about customer relations. In about 30 years of wearing Footjoy shoes I've had 2 problems. In both cases I was told to send the shoes back. In each case I was sent free replacement shoes.

Its Taylormade UKs number. Just trying to help. A lot of times reps get extremely busy and forget. Customer service is for exactly these types of situations.
I appreciate it, thanks. Replacements on the way so I shouldn't need to worry.

I have generally had FJ's in the past and lost very few. The cleat issue aside these are my favourite pair of shoes I have owned, a bit of home improvement will make them perfect.
FJ have moved to the same system for the M line they have in 2013
