just got my mp 14s back from tiger-nick.
black chrome balanced and blueprinted 1 thru sw with kbs tour stiff splined.

lemme just say tiger-nick is a great guy to deal with. Super patient with the eleventy million questions i asked.
the work he did is amazing.

here are some pics.
a few have my recently purchased only played once mp29s to compare nicks work.
as you can see the 14s look almost better than the new 29s

already played 27 holes today with them. even got to whack the 1iron off the tee on a short par 4

most of the refinishing companies i talked to are just that.
tiger-nick has a 10 step process .1check loft n lie 2pulls shaft checks depth of hosel
3prep all shaft tips and puts them in spine finder 4measures each shaft so they are exactly 1/2 increments
5weight sorts grips so they are all the same 6install grips with consistent stretch
7install ferrules swing weight and mark for lead weight 8 install weights tolerance 1/4-1/2 of a point
epoxy shaft in position with respect to spline 9 allow glue to set 24 hours
10 turn ferrules shine with acetone and double check loft n lie........

justin thanks again for the super deal on those 29s.
most likely will bag 2 thru 5 or 6 in 29s and 6 thru sw on the 14s.
the mp29 2 iron is only one degree weak from the mp14 1 iron so.......
unfortunately there isnt a real point to carrying the one iron unless the wind blows

kept me up to date the whole way, even sent pics right after the heads were done
