Driver: Adams Fast 12LS 8.5* w/vts black 6x. Like I said I'm going to kind of completely turn this around, but stick with a fast 12ls. I'm going to sell this and pick up a fast 12ls 9.5, then get a motore tour spec 6.2x to stick in it.
3 wood: so hard to fill. Gone through more of these than any other club but I think I finally found my holy grail.
Adams 1300ss prototype super fairway 13* w/7m3 Black Tie X flex.
Hybrid: Mizuno MP-650 17* w/Fubuki AX h450x. I actually just recently found out this is a tour only 90 gram version of the AX, I just picked up the club for 50 bucks with that shaft already in it haha. Sick combo, launches the ball.
Irons: new(to me) this year. Adams a12 pro 4-PW w/PX 6.5. Switched from PX 6.0 to 6.5 in irons this year and my iron game in terms of consistency has DRASTICALLY improved.
Wedges: Mizuno MP-R12 w/stock DG spinners. Got these last year, absolutely love em. I'd put 6.5s in these, but I hit them well and can control the spinners good enough and estimate the roll out wonderfully so I can't really justify anything more than a regrip on these until they wear out.
Putter: my favorite. Taylormade Japan itsy bitsy spider black. Center shafted, and new today a super stroke fatso grip. After putting that fatso on I have a feeling this club is going to be the reason my scores absolutely plummet this year, and boy am I excited.
Ball: mainly Nike or callaway tour balls I get off LGB for practice rounds. Tournaments, last season I used callaway hex black tour and they are phenomenal, but this season I may try my luck with Bridgestone b330 and see how those work for me.
Bag: titleist lightweight carry, love this bag, gonna use it til it's worn out and then by another.
Shoes: 3 pairs, true tours, Adidas tour 360 atv, and Adidas adipure. Use the true tours/atv's most of the time as they're my new shoes. Basically whatever I feel like wearing that day or matches my outfit determines the shoe I play, both are equally comfy for me. The adipures I got last year, extremely comfortable but definitely getting worn. Use those when I'm dressing really nice to match the outfit, or going to some very nice clubs I want more of a full leather shoe that looks very classy.
Grazie if you read all the way through this anybody. Also, swing speed was last clocked on a monitor at 114-116. I'm a small guy, only 5'10" so don't see it going much higher, but I am always working on fitness so would be shocked to see it climb a couple miles an hour.
I play 5 days or more a week during the summer, it's hard but luckily I am employed by my father at his veterinary hospital so most days I am out by 5 or noon and can practice early in the am before work and then get out and play afterwards. I also take weekly lessons at TPC Deere Run. This has been huge for me. Finally found an instructor that suits my game perfectly and I have drastically improved over the last few years. This summer will be especially difficult however as I'm preparing to take the MCAT in June and taking a summer course in neurological basis of motor development, so those will be very time demanding in combination with work. Oh the life of an aspiring doctor.
Anywho, if y'all live in Iowa or near the illinois border and wanna play sometime or just wanna talk about some junior golfin shoot me a pm! Love to chat with fellow golfers with a passion for the game!

Razr Fit Xtreme 8.5* w/Kiyoshi Black 65x tipped .5", or Motore Tour Spec 6.2x tipped .5" - got the TS coming in this week, testing between the two, selling the shaft that I like less
XHot 3deep 14.5* w/Matrix HD8 Black Tie X tipped 1.5" - This is kind of a placeholder shaft, if I can find a TS 8.2x I'm probably going to tip that .5" and put it in.
Mizuno Mp650 17* Hybrid w/Tour issue Matrix HM3 105x tipped .5" - The shaft swap made a world of difference for me. Turned it from an unreliable sketchy club to the most trusted 260 club I've ever had.
Mizuno Mp-FliHi Cut Muscle 21* w/ KBS C-Taper X Softstepped once - had too big of a gap between the 4i and here, so I dropped a wedge and added this club.
Adams A12 Pro 4-PW w/KBS C-Taper X - Great irons, but by next year I'll have switched to either Mizzy Mp-69s or Bridgestone J40's or whatever suits my fancy. The reason for the switch is because my 6 iron head is bent I found out, no idea how. I already reshafted from PX Flighted 6.5s because I snapped the 7i shaft while teeing off haha. That just so happened to be the best thing that ever happened, the CTaper X has almost instantly improved my iron game by the same amount jumping to 6.5's did. I have hit more shots to 2 feet in the last 2 weeks of having these shafts than I have for like the last 2 years...when I get new irons I'm simply pulling these shafts and putting them in the new ones haha.
53* Wedge - Trying to fill this spot, using my dads old 56* Jaws currently, but once I find a good deal I'm going to pick up a Scratch 1018 53* in the D/D grind.
59* Wedge - Scratch Tour Department w/Tour Issue S400(Reshafting with KBS CTaper X Wedge Shaft) - Hand ground by Jeff McCoy, high bounce for the first half of the sole that gets slightly less as you move down, with trailing edge relief and a grind that allows the face to be opened easily. Craaaaazy good wedge. Love it. I just got it from a random deal, and its amazing. Got some initials stamped in it, but I am going to stamp over those with filled in stars and then a skull and crossbones next to it. Satin finish.
Versa #7 BWB - 33 Inches w/SuperStroke Fatso 5.0 - In the process of selling my IB Black. Mainly made the switch so I could get a bit more money, but the Versa #7 is ridiculously easy to line up. I thought it was a gimmick, but its crazy how well it actually works...I also LOVE the feel of the Odyssey insert this year. From what I've read I believe they brought back the original white hot insert. Ive used a few, and this is by far and away the best they have made. I was also going to try and switch to a SuperStroke Slim, but gripping and trying the two, the Fatso just feels natural to me. So I figured why change what works.
Ball - I use two different ones. I have a box of 50 Hex Black Tours from LGB that I use for all practice rounds/fun rounds. These last me for basically a year of playing 5 days a week. If Im playing with people I dont ever lose many balls, 1 here and there on occasion when I duff a drive OB or hit a water hazard, but I lose way more when playing on my own. I walk, and I hit a perfectly findable drive, and its like the magic ball pixies just pick up my ball and run off...it disappears.
Then for actual important rounds I'm using the Taylormade Lethal this year. Great ball.
Bag - Sun Mountain 3.5 DLX, all black. Great bag, got it on a mega sale, and my Titleist lightweight had lost all padding after 4 years of walking, so I figured might as well. My favorite color is black, and I have a dark theme going with the headcovers and whatnot. Have a demented like zombified purple teddy bear headcover on my driver, a Stitch Bonesman headcover for the three wood, and a Sitch Victory stripes Black/Metal cover on the Hybrid. Skull and Bones on the Driver cover, 3 wood cover, getting stamped on the wedges, and I am probably getting golfdotz to put on my irons. Also putting a GolfDotz on the Toe of my woods, blacking out the RFX, and sending the 3deep to continental to get blacked out.
Thats about it. I was super bored sitting here doing nothing so I figured I'd do a super long write up again. I'm a serious ho for how old I am.... Also, I fund all of this myself. Most of the money has been contained within buying/selling and the like. I think I have spent possibly around 150-200 of my earned money on clubs this year. I have to search for deals, hardcore, and make smart purchases and sell everything I am not using. No backup bag. Going to be a senior in college, applying to medical school next summer. Then all this golfing is going to come to a real quick halt haha.
