I'm curious too.  I've never hit an i20, but I demo'd the new G25 this weekend and it seemed great.  I've never been comfortable playing hybrids, but I may try to demo one of these outside head to head with my 3 iron once the weather warms up a little.

The g25 is higher launching n the head is bigger than the i20. i think g25 is more similar to the anser. I personally like the more com[act shape of the i20. I also think the i20 is more workable.

The G25 has higher launch, much more forgiveness, and higher MOI.....The advantage of the I20 is workability. Both are "traditional shape" with the charcoal non glare matte finish.  The positioning of the Center of Gravity toward the back is allowing the forgiveness and higher launch in the G25.

Everyone (high handicap, low, and anything in between) have really liked the G25 at the 3 Demo Day events I've worked with the G25.

I've heard nothing but positive comments on this line. Both from consumers and reps. Sounds like Ping's homework really paid off with the G25 line.

All the ping hybrids are very good.  I had the i20 17* hybrid and it was really good.  I traded it in for the anser 17*, for a little added forgiveness. The anser is awesome, definitely more forgiving than the i20, but I thibnk the i20 is just a bit longer on well struck shots, imo...  I haven't hit the g25 hybrids yet...

I tried the G25 17 degree hybrid with S shaft today.  I was very impressed.  It was a little bigger than the I20, but setup well behind the ball and is pretty square.  I was hitting it high and about 235 yds.  I was able to hit sudle draws and fades with ease.  I found it much more forgiving than the I20 and much easier to launch.  I figured I would like the Anser, but it did not appeal to me.  I figured the G series would be prone to hooks, but it wasn't the case.  A 17 and 20 will be kicking my 910Hs out of the bag.

The G25 is larger with higher launch & is much more forgiving than i20.  Better players will benefit from the i20 & Anser but the G25 is a no brainer for me!

I spent some time last year hitting the i20 at an outdoor demo event and really liked it.  Never hit it again for the rest of the year.  Does the G25 have any sort of draw or fade bias to it?

I found the G25 to sit fairly square and launch high and straight.  I fought the hooks with an I20.  The G25 did not seem draw bias.

Have you guys all gone with the stock ping tfc shaft? Its the only thing that worries be about the g25.

I have the stock TFC189H Tour stiff shaft in the G25 Hybrid and it works just fine with it. I couldn't get on with the stock shaft in the Driver, but in the Hybrid, its a decent performing shaft.

hmmm I been thinking if I should replace my XTD hybrid with G25.   XTD is long but harder to hit and launches lower.

How about the project x in the i20's? Is it the real deal? What do you guys think about that? Has anyone hated it and put something else in?
Im currently playing an 18* a12 pro with the vs proto rip'd in it, but lately I've been finding it just a bit too harsh. Thinking one of these pings might be a nice replacement.

G25 hybrids are great. As others have said , very forgiving , high flight, set up square. I have a 20 and 23.
Seem to be able to vary the trajectory and move the ball a bit if needed, but they like to go pretty straight.
If I want to go back to a more "iron like" hybrid, I'll just put the adams pro blacks back in the bag, but for now, the G25's are staying. Just super easy to hit.

I have the G25 17* w/ stock S flex shaft.  Its a really nice club.  It replaced the old Hibore hybrid from Cleveland.  The hibore was the oldest club in my kit.  The stock shaft feels really nice IMO.  Ball wants to launch on the higher side and goes forever.  Its about a 220 club for me.  I tried the g25 compared to the Anser and I liked the feel of the g25 better.  I do not have experience w/ the i20.  The g25 sets up very square to my eye.  All around a very easy club to hit.  Can't go wrong with them IMO.

I have the i20 20 degree in the bag and sometimes game the 23 degree depending on conditions. They are great and long. Mine have the PX Black shaft and it is good for me because I prefer a little higher launch in my hybrids. I want a 17 degree but am undecided on G25 or another i20.

I have an i20 20* and it is by far the longest hybrid I have ever hit. I really wanted a G25 but just can't pull the trigger. Higher launching scares me in the West Texas wind. We have a demo day on the 20th and I hoping to hit the G25 and Anser for comparison. I'll never say never but they better be really, really good to have a chance to knock the i20 out of the bag.

I played the G10 up till the end of this last season now I play the i20. I loved my G10s especially with the V2 shaft. Really only switched because I wanted a 4 hybrid and the lofts just wouldn't work only getting the i20 in 23* so I got the i20 in 17,20, and 23. I really like them a lot. I feel like I can control the ball well with them. I felt like I could work my G10s well but these I can just a bit more I feel like.

Tell me if I'm off base here. I recently picked up an i20, and compared to the G25 it is a lot more "tingy" in sound. Still a great club though.

I know its a decent stock shaft, it's only because I tried it in the G25 Driver, and for me it just wasn't tight enough dispersion wise. I really need to give it a go in the hybrid though, could be completely different. Hopefully it is!
