I'm surprised there's no popup marks on his fairway Woods.

I heard he plays crazy old school lofts with like a 50 degree pitching wedge and a 33 degree 6 iron or something. DL3 used to do it too, idk what he has now...

I KNOW he has popped up his fair share but I'm sure that Nike buffs them out and re-paints them for him... Must be nice. Us "normal" people have to use sharpie's and are pretty much screwed if we have white clubs lol

Same thing I have as well... I'm interested in his wedge lofts.  You also made a comment about tipped X100s...  I think taper tip shafts can only be tip trimmed 1/4" right?  I thought someone from Nike clarified they were straight in last year.

I just remember hearing him say in a press conference that he has always used X100's tipped no matter the irons.

I read a while back he had them tipped 3/8". I believe it was somewhere in this site.

so I busted out the tape measure, his irons starting at the 9 are 1" longer than my Eye 2's.    I also dig that high toe on the SQ2 long hosel.    I don't agree with merging the threads, this one is great with the detailed pics, and it's not such a PITA to read through.

Face angle is cranked closed 2-3 degrees.

He plays a CLOSED face driver? Has that always been the case?

I'm wondering why he plays such a closed face driver? Seems to me that would be the answer to all those pulls he hits when he's trying to play his cut.

His putter looks so much nicer at address than the retail 001's. Much softer lines. Especially that toe bumper

Closed was my guess. Sorry, I should have said that.

He has a 8.5 head. The "loft" is 11.25 and face angle is +2 3/2 (typo?). I assumed that meant a 8.5 closed, which increases effective loft, correct?

Also, the 3W and 5W are listed with + face angles and appeared closed.

Outside of his wedges, his clubs all look brand new. Wonder how often he replaces his clubs.

Not sure what you're looking at or how you're measuring but his irons starting at 9 iron are shorter than original Eye2 specs.  Original Eye2 9 iron was 35.75 and his is 35 11/16.  Lofts are the same.

I don't think he replaces them very often.  He hates to switch clubs but I bet he gets his irons refinished pretty often though.

This is a Tiger fans dream thread...definitely going to get all my lofts and stuff the same like him.  And his iron lies are what? 1 degree flat?
