Lets see, where i go
On mat
$7/medium (70 balls)
$10/large (104 balls)
On grass
$7/small (40 balls)
$10/medium (70 balls)
$16/large (104 balls)
Pretty steep if you're asking me especially when half of the bucket is filled with balls as smooth as ping pong balls! And the other half are as hard as rocks and fly nowhere!
But people go cuz it's the only one open til 10p with lights AND the nearest competition is at least 8-10 miles away

I discovered the private club closest to my house now has a fitness center and they offer a family fitness membership for $50. Included with membership is the ability to play the course Mondays for free. It's a nice course that is really challenging with huge greens with a lot of slope and undulation. They also offer a $200 unlimited range pass to a great range with lots of grass to hit off of and plenty of short game practice area. I'm able to work an alternate schedule at work and get every other Monday off so I'll get my money's worth for sure even if I never use the fitness facility (which I will) but the $200 range pass really sold me!

Wow. Great pricing! I have two ranges that I go to. $70 membership for one gets you $2 off your bucket ($8 for 150 balls). So you only have to go 35 times to make it worthwhile, but it's off mats. Second place is grass during spring/summer mats during winter/fall and is $6 for a large $3 for a small.
