is Holly still engaged to Kuselias?

If this doesn't make you crazy, nothing will...

I'm sorry to say...but she looks much older than 26. What's wrong with her?

She looks like she's in her mid to late 30s.  Partying too much?

Actually, understanding marketing is quite easy.  Getting people to realized it's used almost every moment of every day in various forms is hard.  :)

Nah, even those whose television watching is limited to Golf Channel and reading is limited to Golf Digest should be well aware of incessant marketing.  And some even believe the PGA Tour and its tournament sponsors are "all about charities".

Hey Ohio guys.  Did you know that Holly is from Marysville?  Played in the State Championship against Carling Coffing, also an Ohio golfer that went to Ohio State.  Here is an article I found after seeing her name Holly Niederkohr on page 2-3 of this thread.  Just kind of cool I guess.  Her home club, the Marysville Golf Club (Formerly known as Flagstone) I've played it dozens of times when I lived in Dublin.

It's just the world we live in now. Some women are born with what it takes to be on TV. Others need multiple trips to the surgeon to get "noticed". Either way, it is a crap message to the kids and only perpetuates the Narcissism Epidemic going on in our society right now. You know, where everyone thinks everything they do is so damn special and worthy of attention or comment. Oh, and I'm not a crumudgeon, I'm 31 years old.

It's definately not all about charities, but the PGA does more for them than every other sport.  That's undisputed.

HOLY SHIZZZ... I graduated from HS in 04... a year after her... I remember when I was in 8th grade we played a couple of matches against Marysville... I believe they came here, we had a multi-team event, and then again at the state tourny... Middle schools at the time didnt have big enough teams to field a women's team so randomly there would bea girl or 2 coming along during the season.  All I remember about Marysville is one of their best players was this absolute smokeshow girl.  I played with said girl in the event that was at our place and all I can remember about it was that I couldn't take my eyes off of her... and her name was Holly... coincedence?

DING DING DING......we have a winner!!!! So many couldn't understand her Cobra/Puma deal. I tried to explain this is why. For the few bucks they throw her and all the free gear and clothes, they get someone who is one tv everyday, who talks about Cobra/Puma, will wear Cobra/Puma in all the pro-ams she plays and on HER new show Playing Lessons with the Pro's, which will be more tv coverage for them. Plus whether you like it or not, Holly is a cross-over star with a wide range of appeal. Some people say she's fake or not attractive....but those few are the minority. Bottom line, she is a young, attractive female, who is on tv everyday, plays in a ton of pro-ams and who's stock is clearly rising. This was a home run for Cobra/Puma as she is everything they look for in their target market. Young, hip, teens and 20-somethings who like bright clothes and aren't afraid to be different.

Had to have been her...

Ill never forget the one match.  We lost to them at home, we should have beat them.  Our school has a pretty strong golf program, but, we had a down year that year.  Anyways we lost to them and on the way home from the match one kid kept talking about how he was in love with her and how hot she was.  I mean he would not stop.  The golf coach pulled the team van off of the road, pulled over, and started yelling at him 'maybe if you weren't drooling over her you would have made a putt or two.'  It was really the only time in 2 season the coach even raised his voice at us.

I guess there is a chance it wasn't her (and this was like 14 years ago) but idk... I texted my buddy who was also on the team and he remembers the girl.  He also said her name was holly.  He doesn't even have any clue who she is as he doesn't follow golf anymore.

Just read the May GD during my lunch break and it was a pretty good interview with her....great pics, too.  Seems like a really cool person that I'd love to meet and get a lesson from.  However, the fact that she is engaged, dating, whatever with EK makes me want to vomit.

Now we need to hope for WM to get on the cover or atleast get a photo spread of her.

It's definately not all about charities, but the PGA does more for them than every other sport.  That's undisputed.
It's not the role of the PGA Tour to raise money for charities, per se, nor that of "every other [professional] sport".  I've discussed the PGA Tour business model and its relationship with sponsors and the local non-profit hosting the tournament to benefit local charities.  The question of whether professional sports (or businesses) ought to be involved with charities at all is open for discussion.

The history of golfers being "hired" for a local charity function and how the non-profit PGA Tour has refined and commercialized that concept is indeed open to debate and discussion; it just doesn't sit well with folks who somehow think the primary purpose of the PGA Tour is something other than optimizing purses and pensions for its members.  Local charities, volunteers, TV rights, and sponsors are the conduit for the "performers" to earn prize money and endorsement fees. And there is nothing wrong with that; that is its raison d'etre, after all.  The performers are professional athletes.  Why should professional golfers be different from football, basketball or baseball professional athletes?  There is nothing negative about professionals are being paid for the entertainment they provide and the opportunity for sponsors to sell product or entertain clients.  It's just that just putting a constant "charity" spin what the PGA Tour does seems disingenuous to me.

I'd take Lauren Thompson over her all day every day, and twice on Sundays...and Saturdays...and Wesdnesdays too.

I just saw her age elsewhere. I wouldn't say late thirties, but I definitely never would have guessed she's not even out of her mid-twenties. Bumming around with Erik K isn't helping that image either.
