Don't worry, there's no Tiger or Rory. I would advise you to abstain from any discussion regarding tournaments with those 2 golfers involved. This one might get to 10 pages. Surely you can handle that!
In other news, it's nice to see Phil getting off to a good start at -6 through 8 holes.

The field is not bad but there are a lot of notables missing including the top 6 in OWGR, 7 of the top 10, and a bunch of others from the top 25.
Could we try to avoid the play-by-play postings of every shot this week? The 43 pages in the Farmers thread was a little bit much. Thanks.
Wow! While i appreciate that you like to start these tournament threads week in and week out, I am not sure dictating what people post in it is an inherent benefit of doing so.

Er no it doesn't. This is Phil Mickelson we're talking about.
Come on Phil! Four birdies required in seven holes for a 59! He's had to lay up on the par five but is 60 yards away in two. Come on Phil!
Edit. Up and in on the par five, -9 after 12. Only three more birds required!
Actually it does show you how hard Torrey was playing. I'm not just talking about Phil, but look at guys like Mahan, Woodland, English who are going low today. Scores weren't this low last week unless you were playing the North course.
We all know Phil is an enigmatic figure sometimes in relation to which game will show up each week, but it's inarguable this course is playing much easier than Torrey did.

Yeah but you were just talking about Phil... "Phil is going crazy low today. It just shows you how hard Torrey was playing last weekend."
