Let me just say, that even though I joked about sandbagging it, I would never do it. If that story is true about the father son duo doing it. How shameful. They should have been heckled, mercilessly.
Last year with the RBZ fairway release, if anyone saw a huge increase in swing speed, they werent giving out any balls or they would make them rehit cause they knew they were sandbagging.
I brought my Nike SQ2 and hit that further than the RBZ, but that was mainly cause I had the right shaft in the nike and hated the stock RBZ shaft.

For the original RBZ launch, fourth swing with my R11TP I put up something like 272yds carry. This was with my X shaft, 0.5" short, etc. The noodle they had in the standard demo RBZ, no Tour heads or TP shafts in X available, and I could not time the thing well enough to get used to it in five swings.
Then a side wager sprung up for extra balls if you could pop one over 300yds on their simulator. I had already been messing with it some more and got the feel down of the whippy shaft. I know their monitor was BS because it gave me what amounted to a 1.51 smash or something, but the carry was ~327yds on a 113mph swing -- 349yds total.
We all knew it was juiced but what mattered was I still walked out with the max allowable golfballs from TMAG. I guess the other thing that mattered was no one else matched the swingspeed that night, or the distance. LOL.

I apologize if I offend anyone but I find this promotion pathetic...then again I work for a technology company and I laugh at people who line up for the latest and greatest gadget as well....to each his/her own
How is it pathetic when it took me around 15 minutes of my life and i ended up winning $45 worth of the new lethal balls?

I went this afternoon. My swing was horrible and I hit both drivers terrible but I gave it a legit run with both drivers and walked about with 7 golf balls. Looking forward to trying the lethal.
R1 looks better than I thought it would, but prefer the look of my R11 or RBZ drivers instead.

Went last night and hit the R1 against my R11. Before I hit it the guy said try not to sandbag, people were coming in and trying to top and pop up their drivers just so they could get more free balls.
Was it longer? Eh I couldn't tell, wasn't swinging well but I hit a nice long high draw on one drive and they guy said you just earned your 12 balls.
I liked the headshape on the RBZ 2 better. Also saw the Covert Tour and was kinda shocked at how small the head size is.
