This isnt what you think, no bashing Titleist clubs, but I have a problem with their time to make some clubs.

I put an order in at the end of October LAST YEAR to have two TVDs made through my school, and today I found out from my coach that Titleist has called about a teammate of mine's wedges that he ordered the same day saying they were shipping. No mention of mine or if they had been made. Coach said he doesnt even know if they looked at my order form. I understand that for the discounts we get that we wouldnt be too very high on their priority list, but the lack of service we got kinda sucked. I told coach to just tell Titleist to send me the head, ferrule, shaft and Ill make and stamp the thing myself. I loved these wedges when I demoed them, and was really looking forward to getting some of my own.

I was wondering if anone else has had this issue with Titleist. 3 months seems like a really long time to do maybe two hours of work. Im just kinda bummed that I still dont have my wedges...

Why don't you call them? When my 913 got delayed, I called them up and they told be that they were back-ordered on XS D+ shafts before the pre-orders started. They told me when the shafts were getting in, and when to expect mine.

While they are 2-3 months late, you probably should have checked up on them sooner if you wanted them so badly. It only takes 2 hours to assemble your wedge, but there are probably hundreds or thousands of orders to fill. I never understood why people post something that could easily be fixed with a phone call. If the phone call doesn't work, we'll grab some pitchforks and join your cause.

If you're in the United States I would bet the order was never submitted or just recently submitted.  Most of the time they want you to fax orders in so there could have been a lapse in technology.... I promise you they are not that busy, as in 3 months behind.  PUD orders are on the same time frame as standard orders.  I've ordered and gotten several TVD and regular SM4 with initial stamping same week.  Two weeks ago I ordered a set of SM4 wedges with custom initial stamping on a Monday and they shipped same day.  Titleist has been shipping clubs extremely fast this year... including custom product.  I would make a call and see what happened... all the TVD orders I placed this year (2012) were received in less than 8 business days.

FYI, Titleist does not ship components.

Man, there goes me doing it myself. Im not sure if the order just hasnt been filled yet, or what. I was in the office when coach faxed both forms in to Titleist, so I assume they got them. And a lot of phone calls have been made about these wedges. Every time we got the "they are being made, we will call you when they ship" from the rep.

Go call Titleist directly. If you order was submitted, they can look up the order with some basic info. Maybe your rep sucks?

Ive got the number to the Coperate office saved in my phone. Im going to call them in the morning when they are opened. At the very least I guess I could get a couple blank TVDs off ebay

My TVD's took exactly 11 days to show up at my door step. I've always had terrific service from the Titleist Custom Dept.

Same thing here I had them within 11 days and the wedges that were ordered had the tour treatment stampings custom labels, etc...sounds like the order was never placed or got lost in the shuffle some how...

You guys were right! I called Titleist and ended up talking to the a gentleman pretty high up in the college program, and he gave me his fax number to send the form directly to him. He got the form and put the order in the same day. Good call guys!

Good stuff, glad you got it figured out.  Do yall get discounts on TVDS because we dont unfortunately.

Glad it turned out for you.  I ordered one 10 days ago, and it's in hand today!
