So is that 7 iron blade the only one with VrCombo on it?  The other irons (other than the 2) seem to just say VrPro like an all blade set but the 7 is the combo blade??  That's kind of odd

People can hate on the Swoosh all they want, but those clubs are beautiful.  I don't have any Nike in my bag since the Nike VR driver got kicked out of the bag, but I would jump on a set of the VR combos.

Interesting that most of the guys on tour seem to be playing the "performance" version of the Covert. I'm also noticing all the guys that play the Kuro Kage are playing a "proto" shaft. Very interesting.

I think it is just the way the light is in the pic.  It looks to me as the only club that is the pro combo blade is the two.  The 7 just looks like the standard blade.

I'm a Kyle Stanley fan and that is one great looking setup. I've personally, never met a Nike club that I could get along with but I guarantee it's not the clubs fault.

That's a nice set up. Love the bag from top to bottom. Except personally, I didn't get any performance out of the Covert that I demoed. Might have to try it again. Nike makes some nicely shaped wedges too.

It's also cool to see someone still using a more traditional 2-iron. I don't why, I just like to hang on to old times I guess.

That 7 iron says combo on it, not the lighting.  You can see it in all three photos the 7 iron is in.  I find it odd because the 7 iron in a combo set is actually a split cavity not a blade.. Very Interesting...

Just an idea, before I get trolled...

Might be another shaft but painted to look like kuro kage shafts to help sales as they are stock in the covert.

+1 maybe when he was testing clubs he had a few sets made, the blades and combos and he just grabbed the one that says combo and didn't notice. But like u said in the combo set the 7 is a split cavity.
