I wonder if they will next year?  I guess they may wait and see what the success rate is going to be with the R1 line.

I think they should stick with just the R1 driver, it's cooler. R11 was cool and they they came out with the r11 3 wood and nobody i know liked them. i have seen plenty of great hits with the RBZ fairwoods though.

I actually liked the R11S fwys even though the RBZ line smoked them in distance by a LOT!

think about it this way, the Stage 2 is so long because of the speed pocket!
why would i buy a R1 fairway that doesnt have a speed pocket?
so they only went Stage 2

The Stage2 fwys do not have as much loft adjustability as the R1.  That is one if the reasons why I like the covert fwys/hybrids concept.

My R11s 3 and 5 woods are both in my closet at this very moment.

At that same moment, there is a RocketBallz in my bag.

I would be very pleased if they just stick with the RBZ line.

If the Stage 2 is so long because of the speed pocket! Then why do they not build a speed pocket in to the RBZ driver line to make it go farther?

The way they used it was to supposedly increase forgiveness and ballspeed lower on the face. As i understand it, they face is less hot, but is boosted to the COR limit by the slot, and the bottom of the face benefits.

At the TM rate your looking at the R2 fairways.

If it was a Callaway line of woods, like the Razr Black, they could discontinue them in 6 weeks. I'll go searching for your comments about that fiasco. Shouldn't take long. One-trick pony.

It would not surprise me at all if TM releases the R1 fwys/hybrids next year.  That is if the one loft thing is a hit this year.
