Take it as a warning, I spent alot of time with phone calls and emails trying to get my $ back with no luck, as much as we complain about PP, they've taken care of 2 smaller issues I've had w/out any hesitation, PP offers buyer protection, Amazon DOES NOT!!!

I have amazon, but not nearly as smooth. And maybe 1 out of 20 have it. Or are willing to try.
And yes. Screw ebay.

I do not think it would be a good option on the BST here, as good as the BST is here (I've had over 20 great transactions), I've read about several (as rare as they are) deals on the Deal or no Deal that have went south, and in most cases the members atleast got their $ back with PP, the latest one had to do with a good amount of $ ($450 or so). With Amazon, unless they have changed their terms since I lost $220 a few yrs back they wouldn't have.
I know PP has issues as well, I've heard they are more buyer oriented and some sellers have gotten the bad end of the deal, but even then, it's more of a hassle and shipping costs for the seller instead of losing out on there entire deal as PP does require the item to be shipped back before credits are given, in most cases.
I've had only 2 issues in 10 yrs with my 200+ deals on Ebay (none here), and PP took care of each without alot of hassle which included return shipping costs.
