So I sent off my year old Scratch wedges to have them refinished  in black oxide, and some stampings & paintfil done, these were not in terrible shape to start with.

Sorry for multiple posts, I don't know how to add them and keep them in the correct order..

The before photo's..

I think they look very cool.. I had the builder put in KBS Hi-Rev shafts in them.. I have not hit them yet (currently -8°F here in NY...) but they feel perfectly balanced in that all important "swing them on the living room carpet test swings.." (my wife still doesn't understand this process... even after 25 years....)

They look great! I've been thinking of getting the same finish done. Can you PM how much it cost you? Thanks for the post.

Those look nice as well.. I told them to stamp something on mine, and he told me what was available, I selected the skull and bones.. I said I was not to concerned with what he did on them and left the stamping up to him.... they look nice.. I hope to hit them on a sim this weekend.

Ya I had these done last winter.  I sent him my skull and bones stamp at the time also.  Looks like he liked what I had him do.  He does great work on heads.  I have bad him do a few sets for me now.  The raw feeling is so much better.  I did notice on these cast heads u get a more burgundy/brown color compared to traditional black  on forged heads..  I wish just bsing u though about being a copycat lol...

These were the stock Scratch 8620's.. Forged wedges.. I've got a Miura satin that will be heading his way shortly..still deciding what finish to put on it..

The 8620's are actually cast.
