in my Experience Cleveland/Srixons Customer Service is outstanding. Big Thumbs up!
Their clubs are under-rated, so I guess i tend to look at their stuff first although I'm not brand biased, as long as the club works for you.

Only one TM club left to dispose of and will never buy another. Also don't care for Hammer, although their marketing dept seems to have more integrity.

Could you imagine if Ping made a true simple forged MB? It would be a MUST HAVE for every HO on planet earth, to a lessor degree I would equate a club like this to Callaway releasing the Prototypes, I was giddy with excitement and I still feel its the best Cally iron offering ever made. Since they can't manage to pry them out of the tour staffs hands I guess they would agree as well...BB

I've decided to hang on to my VIP MBs (was looking a mizuno). But if ping made one CLEAN no flair set of forged irons id be in no question.

Adams is the best so underrated (maybe not on this site, but to the overall golf market) and Taylormade is all marketing although I did buy the R11 3 wood as I wanted something a little different plus white is kinda a trend obviously

I hate with a passion is Nike, I don't think of them as a golf company, they try so hard. I love Vokeys, not a big fan of anything else Titleist, I love Adams Hybirds , currently gaming Peanuts, I know I'm going to get some remarks for them but I like TaylorMade Clubs, and Ping. Cally isn't bad either.

Big fan of Titleist, Mizuno, and Ping. So-so about Taylormade, Callaway (although like their new stuff), Cleveland (played GREAT older stuff), and don't like Nike or Cobra.

I dislike Tmade for many reasons. Surprised how many on here feel the same way because

what I notice is they seem to be the most popular with the general golfing public.

White drivers and Fw woods are quite prevalent.

Tells me their marketing/advertising works.

I like the brands that work best for me while still having the aesthetic and feel appeal I look for.  That oftentimes ends up being JDM, but not always.

however if i played forged itd be 1. titleist, 2. nike or 3. mizuno (purely because of the satin finish that titleist offers compared to Nike and Mizuno's shiny chrome)

Wedges: 1. Titleist 2. Cleveland 3. Ping (Love the compact shape of the vokeys)

Drivers/woods: 1. Ping 2. Titleist 3. Nike 4. Callaway 5. Cleveland

Putter: 1. Scotty Cameron 2. Ping 3. Odyssey

I have two real loves as far as OEMS go - Mizuno (have often had a 14 club Miz bag) for clubs and Adidas for everything else (bag shoes clothes etc)

I have been known to be pretty unfaithfull with full wood set ups from TM, Titleist, Nike, TEE and a whole host of various putters. Currently the Nike 4 wood is the only non Mizuno club in the bag.

The only brands I haven't played are Ping (but for no particular reason) and Callaway (never been a fan of the brand in general, not sure why)

Love: Titleist driver, woods, and wedges. Mizuno irons and. Bettinardi putters.

Hate: everything Taylormade, Nike (except everything clothing) and Aldila shafts.

I actually can't seem to get along with most major brands...

I like TM irons fine, but didn't like any of the Rocket series (irons)... I like the fairway woods, but the drivers didn't perform for me.
I've never gotten along with anything from titliest other than their wedges.
I've played Ping irons, and like them fine, but they've never stood out for me.
I've never given Nike a chance (no real reason for this, there haven't been any demo days at the club)
I have NEVER liked Mizuno irons. I'm not sure why. They just don't feel right to me.

I enjoy Cobra, but don't love their new colors... it's not a dealbreaker for me, but I'm in no rush to replace my S3.
I'm looking forward to giving Callaway a chance to get into my bag this year.
I love Bridgestone irons.

And I'm a homer for Wishon, and might just give up on looking at other things this year.

I really like Ping because they give a discount to US military personnel.  I recently bought a new set of irons and the Ping G25 and Callaway X Hot were my favorites and pretty equal, so I bought the Pings because they support our military.

Just interested what qualifies as a golf company? I'm not a Nike fanboy by any means but just tired of seeing the brand getting trashed all the time, especially lately. If you don't like Tiger, if you don't like Rory then that's fine but its very sad that people rate a company's equipment because someone they don't like is playing them. Very sad behaviour. Nike have invested a lot of money to grow their golf brand, so what? They're not trying to buy history in the game or anything like that, they're just trying to grow a brand in the game.

Every golf company had to start somewhere, every golf company had the freedom to start making golf equipment and build their brand.  Why can't Nike? Mizuno makes equipment / clothes for numerous different sports of which golf is just one. They aren't a "pure" golf company yet they are highly respected. A company that makes golf clubs is a company that makes golf clubs, be it for 100 years or 10 years. The equipment they bring out is made of the same materials, often in the same factories so the only real difference is what is stamped on the club FFS! All these companies have experienced club designers who have proven themselves in the game. Nike just happen to be lead by Tom Stites, well known from Hogan days where some very well respected clubs were produced. It's just golfing snobbery!

I was not aware of this discount. Is that for active personel only?  A playing partner of mine is retired military, 25 years service. He plays an entire Ping bag, and he is not aware of this. Please elaborate, if you could.

I am a big wilson fan boy . Taylormade intrigues me but they are getting very gimmicky. Not a big Mizzy fan. The older cally drivers are sweet.

Like: Clubs that play well and have "normal" naming schemes - 913D3, X22, A7, G25, JPX800...
Dislike: Marketing Names: RocketBallZ, RAZR, Extreme...
Dislike: Product Differentiation that is only there for the shock/unique factor: White heads, then Blue, Orange, Red heads.  When are iron heads going to be colored the same?

I play Callaway/Adams/Odyssey/Bridgestone, but I don't like all their products and marketing.  I would like to try Titelist. Nothing bad to say about them except it's not at a price point that I willing to entertain today.  I won't say I don't like a club brand that I havn't played before, but I will say what things I don't like about them.
