The exact same first impression for me too. I immediately thought that the wedges looked too busy. Might be something that I could adjust to quickly, and is much less noticeable on the satin finish. Shape and grind looks great though.

I love the dark finish on that forged wedge.
Even the Covert irons don't look that bad. I wouldn't be surprised to see some pros bagging a Covert 2 and/or 3-iron.

It looks like the Vokeys will be replaced once those wedges come out! They look great, especially with that black chrome finish! Any word on what shaft they will be offering?

There was a Nike catalog thread posted in here a few weeks ago. I'll check and see if it states what the stock shaft will be.
If have a feeling its gonna be s400's, which is perfect by me, though I probably will try a PX in there

I've played the Nike wedges for a few years now, and those x's on the milling wear off. after a few months of using them, the x's will be worn off. Don't get me wrong, the wedges themselves don't wear out, they still preform great. Simply the x's on the face wear off.

The driver and the wedges are super sweet looking. The new wedge will be the best looking wedge in the market once it is released IMO.
