I agree but I think the milling looks a little distracting on the black wedge. The whole line, whether you like it or not, is at least daring and something new, except those irons just do not live up to the appearance of the rest of it. I am still shocked they haven't come out with something a little less GI. Even an updated players cavity to go with the covert tour stuff. But i get it, they were obviously busy.

The people I was speaking to yesterday at the show were telling me the irons were ridiculously long, longer than rocketbladez by about 9 yards an iron. I haven't hit them yet myself, but it sounds like the irons are flying a little underneath everyones radar.

Irons look much better to me now then they did at first. Are they forged?

The exact same first impression for me too. I immediately thought that the wedges looked too busy. Might be something that I could adjust to quickly, and is much less noticeable on the satin finish. Shape and grind looks great though.

In person the irons look much better... Similar to a Callaway Diablo Forged without all the offset.  I'm thinking about gaming them myself.

Their entire line looks great this year, from driver to wedge.

I love the dark finish on that forged wedge.

Even the Covert irons don't look that bad. I wouldn't be surprised to see some pros bagging a Covert 2 and/or 3-iron.

Jeez, the cavity on the Covert driver looks really deep from the pic. I will reserve judgement until I see it in person.

It looks like the Vokeys will be replaced once those wedges come out!  They look great, especially with that black chrome finish!  Any word on what shaft they will be offering?

There was a Nike catalog thread posted in here a few weeks ago.  I'll check and see if it states what the stock shaft will be.

The line looks much better in person.  Still digging the red.  The irons are not bad looking at all.  Really digging the wedges for some reason.

I've played the Nike wedges for a few years now, and those x's on the milling wear off. after a few months of using them, the x's will be worn off. Don't get me wrong, the wedges themselves don't wear out, they still preform great. Simply the x's on the face wear off.

The driver and the wedges are super sweet looking.  The new wedge will be the best looking wedge in the market once it is released IMO.

Most shops have them to hit already.  We've had them for two weeks.  Even lefty's in multiple lie angles.

I wonder what the spin rate on the Covert Tour driver is like. Hoping pretty low...?
