Major thing I'm working on right now is keeping the width at the top of my swing.  I have a tendency to let it get a little narrow, and when that happens, I drop it really far to the inside on the way down and it's not very pretty.  Basically, I try to feel like I am keeping the butt end of the club as far away from my head as possible at the top of the swing, and that keeps everything pretty tight and its almost automatic.

Indeed. Not exactly sure why, though! I've never really been a huge fan of my own swing, but it gets the job done pretty well.

I follow professional golf very closely, and I know what the two step is.  I guess I'm just missing the connection!

The studder step, "false start" that Keegan does in his pre shot routine...

Looking pretty good.  I seems a little jittery in the transition, but clearly it's working for you.  Would like to see the rhythm smoothed out a little.  Do you have a recent one from face on?
