I just received a flyer from GG offering TaylorMade equipment. I see a $45.99 ball called "Lethal" and a $29.99 ball called "Rocketballz Urethane." My first guess is that these will replace the TP5 and TP3 rather than join them in the TM line. Does anybody know for sure?

The lethal is replacing the TP5 while I believe the Urethane will be replacing last year Rocketballz product.

Anyone know when the new balls will hit the stores?   Also wondering what this will do to the price of the TP5's.

The Lethal (5-piece urethane) is replacing the TP5 and the RBZ Urethane (3-piece urethane) is replacing the TP3. The Superdeep (2-piece surlyn) is replacing the Burner. Not sure if they are keeping the RBZ (3-piece surlyn) or if this and the TP3 are both being replaced by the new RBZ Urethane.

The Lethal and the RBZ urethane are available online through Golfsmith and Edwin Watts.  Don't know when they will be in the stores.

LETHAL is, well, LETHAL.  Lower spin, very strong trajectory that cuts through the wind better than any ball I've seen (even bridgestone 330), yet it has the 5 layer construction with all the spin with the irons.  It looks like they have a major winner on their hands imo.  I was pretty excited about it testing it out at the range today, especially off the driver.  It's basically an extreme version of the TP5 ball and better players will love it.

This!!

We played it today at the Pro Am with Sean O'Hair.  Sean loves the ball and is no doubt putting it in play right away.  GolfPro..you must have been listening to Sean, that's almsot exactly what he said.  He also added without prompting, It's the best ball I've ever played.  This wasn't a product commercial or anything, it was jsut a conversation as we were walking and talking.  The two things he loves most about it is the soft feel off the wedges and the penetrating flight through the wind.

Now from a higher handicap perspective, I hit a couple nice little 58 yard wedge shots with it today where it hopped and stopped, and it felt great to me.  I told Sean, that it probably sounds funny coming from a 18 HC'er but I know exactly what he means about the feel off wedges.  I can feel the difference between a ball like that and say a two or three piece ball.

I don't know if this pic will help at all, if you're not fluent in spanish :)

That looks like French. TM may be trying to trick us, but the French knows how that always ends.

What is the difference between the Superdeep and 2013 Burner ?  Both are 2 piece I assume.  Softer cover on one of them?

im sure taylormade will soon start selling lethal x-out balls for like $30 a dozen in the near future.
if they do, would go with the x-outs or rbz urethane?
