Here's a quick snap shot of my WIIB I'll get into specs below.

And the winning shaft is .........

Posted Image

Yeah the BB won.  The DI and the Speeder are money shafts but I think the DI was "TOO" smooth for me and the Speeder just wasn't close to the other two.  I have a pretty fast transition and I felt like I was trying to time the kick of the DI.  Now that may have been all in my head but hey golf is hard enough and I don't need any more swing thoughts haha. Bottom line is when it came down to it I am CRUSHING the Xtreme with the BB shaft.  Lower spin the the DI, Mid launch and 2mph fast ball speed then the DI.  This shaft is the real deal and for someone with a quicker transition it should be on your hotlist.

Ok so specs :
Callaway Xtreme 9.5* (set to O) with Graphite Design Tour AD BB 7x
Callaway X hot pro 3w 13.5* with Fujikura Motore Speeder 7.1X
Callaway X hot pro 5w 19*  with GD Tour AD DI 7X (Not pictured as I haven't gotten it yet)
Callaway X Utility Prototype 21* KBS TOUR C-Taper Xflex
Callaway X Forged 4-PW KBS Tour C-Taper Xflex
Cleveland Satin 588's 53*and 58* KBS TOUR C-Taper Xflex
Odyssey Versa #7 BWB - Bent to 1* loft @ 35"

Any questions feel free to ask.

What kind of distance are you realizing with the RFE, XHOTPRO 3W & Utility?! I'm trying to get my set dialed but I'm just not absolutely certain about the gaps and whatnot. It'd be helpful to know what your seeing with your stuff.

Thanks in advance brotha!

awesome setup!!!!!

Hey so you think these are more forgiving than the MP64s - i hit the 64s today.  They felt great but they were a tad "too" hard to hit.  I hit 4 good ones in a row then would hit a terrible hook or whatever.

The Xforged look amazing - are they mp53 / ap2 forgiving?

RFX i'm around 290-315+ (depends on how i'm catching them) Xhot pro off the tee is like 275-280 Hybrid is 240-245ish club then 21 Utility is 220-225 and so on..

The mp64's have a little larger profile then the Xforged but the Xforged have more bounce which provides a good bit of relief.  In all honesty it depends on what your "miss" is.  If you can grab a 6iron demo and get it on the course.

404 ERROR BIG NOISY SHAFT DECISION ANNOUNCEMENT WITH SHARKS AND LASERS NOT FOUND

:D

Very cool, thanks for posting. The DI and BB are amazing shafts, I admittedly thought it was all hype until I hit them on two separate LMs on different occasions. Love the look of the bag, clubs, and especially the driver. Those X-Forged look better every time I see them too.

BB is a great shaft!  If I could find one for a reasonable price I would put it up against the TS(s) that I have.  Well played :)

Well it was all set then Callaway pulled the plug. Something about needing to setup for the PGA merchandise show, blah blah blah.  Oh well haha.  The Xforged are sweet

Thanks, Garrett does their tour builds and he was nice enough to stamp them.  I'm enjoying these wedges.  Each round I'm getting more and more comfortable with them.  For me wedges take a minute to figure out.

Awesome looking set of sticks.

I've got my Callaway rep on speed dial for the day the X Utility prototype comes out left handed!

Love the look of that putter. If playing partners keep calling me a cheater with my Spider Belly I am quickly going to that putter you have. The #7 is the Holy Grail!

Awesome looking bag, love my DI but the BB sure looks sweet too.  Jealous of those yardages.  Haven't played callaway in a few years but I enjoyed following your trip thread and think they are coming out with some great stuff this year.

J13 great looking bag!  I have a couple questions.  Did Callaway fit your for the BB7 because its not shown as a custom option. Also, did you hit the BB6 with the driver.  I'm really considering the shaft but want a lighter weight and curious if you have a review on it.  Lastly, is there any shaft that compares to the BB as I can't find anyone who has it in?  Thanks.

Swanry-They are crazy expensive agree.  I got mine at a "reasonable" price

Password- You should, the Xutility is that good

Osprey-#7 is a great putter, I"m loving mine and putting EXTREMELY well with it

Switzbeatz- Buy that rep some dinner and butter him up, trust me. haha

Odshot68-
-No Callaway did not fit me for this shaft.  They fit me for the Black Tie but after my round at Lacosta I loved the speeder in my 3 wood so much I told them to toss it into the driver in the 7.2.  (7.1 in 3 wood).  So I got the driver as I wanted it and knew if it wasn't quite what I wanted no big deal as I could use it in my backup razr fit.  I had the DI and BB shafts with Razr Tips as that's what I used in my Razr Fit.
-I have had the DI in the 6x but not the BB.  I ended up sticking with the 7x's as they felt better to me..
-Look on ebay or google Prochoicegolfshafts is the US distributor and they list their partners where you can find them.

Does the razr fit tip work in the razr fit extreme and X hot driver?

Odshot, yes same Razr Tip, as for the putter loft I tend to add 2* of loft at impact so to keep me in the ideal range of 3* they delofted it by 2*.

J13, do you think the BB shaft would feel the same in any head.  The reason I ask is I may just order the shaft with the Razr fit adapter then take it to the shop and see what head and loft it fits best into (X-treme or X Hot Pro).  How long are you playing your driver at, and if shorter did it change the swingweight?

I have the 9003X in my driver and love it.  What do you think of the BB.  I'm looking for a 3 wood shaft and have the tour spec speeder and thats way too boardy for my liking.  Think about the Tour AD DI. Any thoughts of the feel between the BB and AD?

Not trying to thread jack, but my thoughts are the BB6 in driver and DI7 in fairway woods.  I think that would setup great.

Nice setup for sure- I like the new Callaway stand bag too. RFX driver is sexy. Have you had the chance to compare your RFX side by side to a 913? Interested to hear your thoughts if you have.

thanks for the pics J13.......

My miss is usually thin / low on the face - can you compare the forgivness or the 64s to X on low misses?

Both irons look just amazing.

Agree that would be a good setup.  DI or even the DJ or new GT for fairways.

I have hit the 913 but that was a while ago. It didn't beat out my Razr Fit driver so it didn't go any further then that.  The Razr Xtreme has beaten out my Razr Fit.

Mine is too and I would say both are fairly good for thin misses.  Not sure I would say one is better then the other in that category.

From all the threads ive been reading, everybody is saying how great the x hot 3 wood is.  In your honest opinon, is the 3 wood THAT long, because if so it sounds like I need to pick one up.  Could you put some pics up of your 3 wood if you dont mind.
