Combine all that having been so successful with Titleist, who arguably make some of the purest equipment (players clubs).
Why did he change?
Nike in my opinion do not make better equipment.
He does not need the money.
It can only be, the greed of others (management company etc) and poor advice.

Oleson just got on Nike and he's doing well with the "inferior" Nike clubs he has.

+1 on that!!
I notice Thorbjorn Olesen is not struggling with his new Nike equipment though-that boy is the real deal imo. Rory looks totally ill at ease with his equipment and with no confidence. It looks as if he is trying to swing fix on the course, purely because he has no confidence with his new gear atm. I am sure he will come good, he is too good not too, surely, and i seem to remember Tiger dabbling with his new Method putter a few years ago, then swapping backwards and forwards with his old Scotty for a few months, so I'm sure Rory will find a place for his Method over the next few months, as Tiger did eventually. I just wish an old head, would take Rory aside and tell him not to make brash statements about how much better his new gear is than his old stuff, which was a bit disrespectful, I thought, to Titleist who gave an 18yo his first Pro contract. I thought that was a bit classless, but he is young, and I'm sure if he had a good magement team around him, they would be telling him to be careful of the over hyped statements re his new equipment, golf has a way of making even the best look very silly.
But as I said, I'm sure he will come good. And good luck to him.
All credit to Tiger by the way for fighting back to at least make the cut.
