I'm looking to find the true length of a standard ap1 5-pw shaft without grips and club head. Ordered project x uncut shafts to go in my ap1s and would like to know standard lengths. Thanks

Thanks, but is this measurement with grips and club head? 5 iron at 38" seems a little long if grips and club head isn't on

Yes, but when it hasn't got a head or grip on, it's usually called a "shaft" and not a "club". Titleist would like you buy the entire club if they take the trouble of giving you the entire length of the assembled item as it intended to be played.

...anyhoo.....
if you have bought a set of PX shafts from 5-PW they will discrete to each iron head. In other words, the longest shaft in the set will go into the longest iron. Then you can trim them to whatever length you like. If "standard" checks your box, trim to 38" overall length for the 5-iron and 1/2" shorter for each subsequent club.
If you haven't bought a discrete set for each intended iron, you've got the wrong shafts per flex.

I measured the 5 iron shaft without grip or head and it is 37 1/4" long. They then get shorter by 1/2" until you get to the pw.The pw is 1/4 " shorter than the 9 iron.Hope this helps
