So I may have crossed the line of full blown crazy...I got the idea from another member who made his own driver cover. And seeing how kids clubs don't come with covers, I decided to make one for my daughter's driver. Just a sock and an old plush toy, sew them together and POOF* instant head cover... ;)

That's awesome! you're doing a heck of job, K! or should we start calling you Dr. Victor?

My duaghter's new putter arrived yesterday and before I could even close the front door she was screaming "My new putter!"

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.... :)

Kadin, you're going to have a blast playing golf with your little girl!  I gave my boy a USKG 9 iron with a training grip and a putter when he was 3-1/2.  I used to put him in a cart and take him out to "play" nine with me.  Once I was on the green, he would drop his ball and putt out.  As he got a little bigger, I would throw a ball down a few yards off the green and let him chip on and putt out.  As much as he loved it, I of course revelled in it!  He's twelve now, and the best part of his game is his short game-chipping and putting. He's on his fifth set of clubs and this spring will be his eighth season of competing on the US Kids Golf Tour.  Enjoy! :)

These are from today during  her golf class (ages 3-5) called "Little Tigers".. little did I know that they were going to have her outside when it's 45* out!

Playing Tic-Tac-Toe with her Putter

Kadin-- Love the Left Hand Low! When I told my little guy that I heard Arnold Palmer and Gary Player both recommend teaching kids to putt LHL, I asked my then very little guy if he wanted to give it a try, he did and he's been deadly ever since!

Here are some more from her last class...Coach Greg teaching her the 3-9 drill.

Chipping game, where she has to knock down the cups. You would be amazed at how much the kids love this drill and don't want to leave this station.

Putting to plush toys instead of a "cup". This was another kid favorite that day.

I walk into the family room and I see my son and daughter playing with my son's work bench, but not in the usual way...

I asked what they were doing and my daughter said "Playing pro shop and this club needs a pink grip." I then asked what the hammer was for, her reply "So I can pound my name into the club Daddy."

Oh the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.... :)

Well Spring has sprung and we made it down to the short game practice area yesterday...

I figured she's turning four this month, time to learn how to hit from a bunker.

My three year old daughter has been dragging my old clubs around for a few months now.  During my monthly trip to Goodwill to search for clubs, she found and asked to have the kids starter set.  With in an hour she was in the field I hit around while she plays, hitting balls with me.  She says her new clubs are still to long, and they need to be butt weighted for better stability.  She asked if she could blow the grips on when I change them out.  With the Masters on this week that is all I have heard about while I have been at home is when are they playing Amen Corner.

Kids are awesome!
