I think it's very respectful of you to put your wife in the superior postion -- requiring Paulina to get along with her rather than requiring your wife to get along with Paulina.  I hope your wife fully understands what a great husband you are!

I do what I can, I'm sure I'm appreciated at home.  BTW, it's been upper 40s here, I've been thinking of getting outside to hit some balls!

Sure, brag about your upper 40s heat wave.  Me, I like hitting on the driving range into the snow-covered fairway.  You can't see where the ball stops, and it's so much easier to lie about distance.

I guess there's a nice tradition here where winners of GolfWRX contests try to share their experiences.

I know that our trip hasn't started yet, but I thought I'd share with all who might be interested that the experience itself has very much started already.

For instance, Hip Check's having launched this thread was a nice thing, as are the many congratulatory posts above.

The people from Tmag and GolfWRX who have been in touch with we winners while we avidly anticipate our trip have been very gracious -- as have previous contest winners.  A real nice feeling with which to start off!

And it might interest you to know that Carolina Golfer 2, one of my fellow winners, had the fine idea of starting an ongoing private message thread in which we four people who are going could begin to get to know each other, and bounce questions and excited anticipations back and forth.

I guess it might sound silly, after all, what could be bad about winning!  But the truth is that for me, the camaraderie that's already started thanks to Carolina's effort has already made this whole thing even more special than it otherwise would be.

Maybe some of you are like me, almost always playing golf for the solo pleasure of trying to meet or occasionally beat your own expectations.  I love it.  But every now and then I've played with a partner in a tournament, and the experience of having someone on your team is great.  Uplifting.  (It's so nice to be able to legally ask for and receive advice once in a while!)

Anyway, that partnership feeling has come along with this lovely gift.

Well Said Sawgrass, and I echo your feelings 100% and appreciate all the congratuations and well wishes from our fellow wrx'ers.  As you said our camraderie and friendship has already begun.  We know for fact +Church is the resident techie and young gun, meaning probably the longest hitter of all of us.   We know Chilli is a terric dad and our resident worrier, and richly deserves this trip.  As I mentioned before about you and you have said.  You hold this game and the rules in high regard and respect everything about it. We will learn a lot from you this week, and I look forward to it.  And me, you have all learned that while an introvert by nature, once I start talking or writing, it's hard for me to stop.  But I promise, I'll try my best.

And KascoPro has already proven very valuable by giving us the lay of the land as to what to expect and offering to be our official photograher.  What a true professional and credit to the PGA he is.

For all previous contest, I have been in their shoes, sincerely congratulating the winners and hoping like heck one day, I'd be lucky enough to be chosen.  Well that day has unbelievably come, and I couldn't be happier and I will try my best to share our experiences in a way that the members will enjoy hearing about, and just hope it doesn't come off as passive brags

We'll be in touch all, I'm sure there will be an experience thread set up by either HipCheck or one of us.

To the winners: congrats on what will be an amazing experience- I really look forward to hearing about everything!! I'm especially interested in this one as I was originally a selected winner but couldn't attend due to work obligations (if there was any way to move my work obligations I would have but no dice )
