Why would he play R9 irons over Adams forged irons?
Adams 9088 Matrix
Adams LP Matrix 3,5,7
PING G25 CFS 4-U
Tour Edge 54*
PING ANSER karsten

If you look closely at the lob wedge, it almost looks like he hit a ball from the back of the wedge from the dimple-like mark

Considering Tmag owns Adams. I'm sure Adams (taylormade) is not to upset about this.

Looks like there is a rocketbladez iron next to the 5 iron, also does he carry a gap wedge? Big gap between pitching wedge and 57° wedge.

his pitching wedge is 50° I think
i saw somewhere his clubs specs (loft lie etc.)
his short irons was about 3° weak and with the progression his 3 iron was 20° (that all i can remember) (i can't find this photo to prove it)

Black Epoxy- sometimes with a little lead powder mixed in.

Does anyone find his set up a little odd? I ask because he has a 22* hybrid and a R9 4I which are both the same loft.  You add in the Rocketbladez 3I and is the hybrid even necessary?  Why would he need all three?

Just because a hybrid and an iron have the same loft, does not necessarily mean they go the same distance. The head design is different, the ball flight is usually difference, and the hybrid is usually a little longer in length.

Maybe he can work the designs to his advantage and prefers to have different ball flights instead?

I never get how playing 1 hybrid makes him an Adams guy lol.  I guess they are owned by TM so it's irrelevant but Adams must have just given him more $$
