I have a G20 8.5* that I just got with a GD YS7+ in x flex that I hit too low. I have either a BB 83 x5ct in regular flex or a Project X 6.0 that I pulled from an Nike VR Pro. I guess my question is between the BB or the Project X which one would launch the highest? My SS is 90-93 mph and smooth transition and pretty consistent ball striker. Love the G20 and have tried a 10.5 reg stock shaft that went TOO high. Thanks for any help
Blimey. It sounds like you've got quite a wide range of shafts in terms of flex - and drivers lofts to match too. I would say maybe ditch the 8.5 degree G20 and go back to 10.5 with the BB - but as always, a proper fitting session is better than your current blind testing.
I would imagine with your swing speed and smooth transition that YS7+ probably feels pretty stout.
But as jaskanski pointed out. A proper fitting would be most beneficial.
