Anyone see last nights episode (ok what else am I going to watch at 10:00 on a Tuesday night). Gary gets schooled by Mark, I love it... Gary threw sportsmanship right out the window and paid the price. :russian_roulette:

See my thread in the 19th Hole on the Big Break's Biggest Jacka$$ for some good stuff.

If there is a worse show on tv I've never seen it. How has there been more than one of these things??? I keep trying to give it a fair shot and each time I'm glad to have a remote to change the channel.

Only thing good about this show is where it is filmed at. Reunion is a fabulous facility. They are doing a lot of construction on a new clubhouse right now, but when it is finished the place will be immaculate. I had the honor of going there in December for ClubTest and it was a beautiful course and I saw where they had a challenge for the Big Break as the fairway still had the Big Break logo painted on it.

I have never pulled so hard for someone to get eliminated until I saw that last night. He is just a a$$. Glad he was there to win it all and not just survive. Even better that he said it after he was eliminated.

I said it in the other thread, but it bears repeating - if someone ever did that (hitting the sand) while I was in the process of playing - I'd walk over, grab the club, and break it over my knee. Now - they may have edited it a bit, but that was just pure jack a$$...

I would have broke Gary's club too but only after I shoved it up his...

Sweet justice... I hope he reads these forums. He was lucky enough to get his 15 minutes of fame and look what he did with it! What a joke.

He represented himself, his family, his club very well. I'm sure they're all proud.

Gary and Mark had to take shots out of a sandtrap to a green - it was a big bunker. Gary took a bunch of shots to get it in the circle, so then Mark had to go and do it in less strokes than Gary basically.

During Mark's shots, Gary was standing behind him and was swinging his club with one arm in the sand. Everyone noticed and commented that it looked like Gary trying to distract Mark. It didn't work, Mark did it - and everyone felt justice was served.

I could not agree more. I tried giving it a chance the first 2 season and have tuned in from time to time since then if there is nothing on and I'm surfing. It is a horrible show and that is bad coming from someone who will watch almost anything golf related.

I'm a big American Idol fan. One of the things I like about AI is that they have discovered some really great undiscovered talent. Even some of the non-winners have gone on to big careers and contestants have sold millions of records and won dozens of awards. None of these Big Break contestants have ever done anything on tour have they? Have any of them ever made a cut? Plus, you have to put up with poor sportsmanship like what was described in this thread.

Golf Channel....its time to shoot this horse.

I after the first two or so I lost interest in the big break, but this season got me back into it.

that was a good episode... I found myself wondering why any of those last four were on the show... well Mark really had some nice shots, but especially the women... they were terrible.
