How can protect my new BB O carbon steel?

I recently bought a new Bettinardi putter. I want to protect my investment from rusting. Having previously owned some original Camerons, baby oil and the Cameron Silicone rags did little to protect my putter from rust.

I have read that Renaisance Wax or Eezox will protect better and with less applications. Please let me know any experiences or recommendations with these products or others to protect my "new weapon" from rust.

I'm not familiar with the products you mentioned. I've been gaming a carbon steel BB5 with a black oxide finish for the last five years and use baby oil. My putter looks great and my hands are are very soft

If you really want to prevent it from rusting, hang it on a wall. Seriously, don't worry about it, it's a great putter. Just use it. When you are ready to sell it, send it to BOS first.

Go to your local gun store and ask what is the best option they sell to protect metal. There are numerous options.
