Those actually look very industrial, kinda raw, but I love that and the shape of the head looks so classic. Maybe it's just the camera angle but the sole looks really flat.

scratchswinger - was just about to post that I liked Taylormade's version from 2 years ago much better!

All kinds of exciting stuff coming out from everyone but Cleveland really isn't moving the needle, for me at least. I do like the RTX wedges but Cleveland has seemed to be slipping and I don't think this year's stuff is going to change that.

The TC might stand for Tour Concept, as CG's new line up for 2013 consist of the 588 MT and 588, which look nothing like this.  The TC's look a lot better and if I can get my hands on a set, I will.

Had a set of CG4 tours (tc on hosel) tour concept irons that were one of my favorite sets, these seem to share similar profile and as such, should be very nice.

My guess is these are some sort of tour issue versions of the new TT irons.

Oh I think they look great. Even if they come to retail (if they come to retail) looking plain like that I'd give them a shot. I like the cosmetics and the shape from address, at least based on the few pics here.

+1  If they are forged.  Most are cast by Cleveland though although still very soft.

I LOVE the 07 x forged but I was not a fan of the MCs.  These look just enough less busy than the MCs for me.

Very sharp looking irons..! looks like enough forgiveness with the looks of a players iron to be a real contender..have to see how they feel!!

Emailed Cleveland golf. Got a reply from the head of custom dept.
He told me that these are a prototype. Only a few staff members have them for research and development.
There is not a release date and they may never be released to the public.
I guess they have test them out .

The new 588 TCs will be no different than the CG7 Tour Concepts (carbon steel), the CG16 Tour "P" Stamp (carbon steel) irons.  Some of the best irons ever, but won't make it to retail.  Really kind of sad as it is my belief all of these irons would sell well.

Cleveland makes some awesome equipment; however we don't get to see all of it.

I'll cross my fingers........
