TopGolf has opened up at I10w and hwy6. I saw one of these places featured on a TV show a couple years ago and it looks like a pretty cool spot. I hope to get out there soon if possible but if anyone is in that area and gets a chance to check it out, let us know how it is.

I've visited a couple of times already. Very cool place indeed.

The only problem I have with it right now is that it's packed full of party people and wannabes that are there just for the "new and cool" factor so it can get very crowded at times.

It's a great concept but not 100% golf-centric IMHO (bar, restaurants, parties, etc.). I guess it can help get more people interested in this wonderful sport but we'll have to wait and see.

Still, it's light years ahead of any other golf range in existence.

Except the $40 an hour part and no chipping or putting area. This isn't aimed at golfers, more or less like the beer gushing bowling league.

True, but are there not enough putting and chipping greens in the Houston area?  This is something completely different, they are not trying to be a practice facility, they are trying to be a drinking while hitting balls facility.
