It's not. My opnion is that I am amazed at how many people are still anti-Nike for a variety of reasons, and that you wouldn't see this some of the stuff that's been posted if he had just signed with Mizuno or Titleist. That's all. Everyone is welcome to their own opinions, and those with negative opinions towards Nike products can certainly have there opinion, but posts about how the Method putters are junk compared to Scotty Cameron's will never cease to amaze me. I think people are reading to much in to this stuff.Rory had an average ball speed last year of 178+ and his fastest was 183.66 mph.It's a dog and pony show that all manufacturers do every new release.I watched Rory say he also picked up a couple mph with his new irons.Really!with blades,don't buy it.All pro's have to hype their gear and we all get worked up about which company is better.Play what appeals to you because in the end all the new gear is so close in performance it really does not matter what name is on the bottom.My 2 cents

In this case it isn't a manufacturer saying the new driver is X yards longer.  Almost every Nike staffer is saying they have picked up a couple mph ball speed with the covert drivers.  It's not out of the realm of possibility that they may in fact be telling the truth.  The cavity back design really is something no other manufacturer is doing.

All I have to say Gentlemen, is that it definitely is going to be an exciting spring leading up to the Masters. I can't think of another time in golf where there was this much hype surrounding the sport.

Jeans? Really. Who cares. I would want my million dollar signing to be himself and show up in whatever he felt was appropriate. If I was giving that much money to an athlete I hopefully know him well enough that he wouldn't surprise me by showing up looking like Snoop Dog. That is the problem with the corporate world, you are all stuffy and anal. The world is too tight in the groin area as it is, loosen up.  Rory looked comfortable and clean, that is what you should want for your sponsored athlete, for him to feel comfortable.

This is probably why there never will be a press release about you. Put on some jeans and loosen up.

Yeah, old nike gloves did not last for me at all. Disappointed. But im going to be giving the new ones a try, pricey i see. But probably worth the price.

Ha ok. Typical assumption that I have never spoke with many CEO's. Wrong assumption but typical. Looking forward to to the Fila look. I completely understand "old school" stuffy corporate ideals as I had to live in that world for much of my first career. Which is exactly why I made my post. I seriously doubt that unless its a tour only type of head that you can get out on the tour van.  It seems like adjustability is what everyone is going now.  It would be cool though, and make it 380cc too!
