Golf channel has it on now.  Said he will play the new covert driver,and that his deal is for everything Nike. From head to toe,and even accessories. Ball,tees,gloves,etc. He will play the Method putter.


-- Driver: Nike VR_S Covert Tour, 10.5 degrees, neutral position
-- 3-wood: Nike VR Pro Limited Edition, 15 degrees
-- 5-wood: Nike VR Pro Limited Edition, 19 degrees

Sorry no pics,and if this is in wrong section. I am watching it now,and he is going through his bag.


It is even showing the new commercial with him and Tiger that is going to be released this week.

I just updated cause Sports illustrated just asked his ball and driver specs. Also,to note,a guy just asked if he could go back to the Scotty and he said he is not talking contract specifics. So looks as if his Scotty is out in the pasture for good.

So far, one of the most awkward 15 minutes of TV I've seen in a long time.  Commercial is good though.

In the commercial it looks like Tiger was not gaming the new Covert driver, it also appeared to be a different shaft as it looked completely red. Who knows what we can read into this because it's just a commercial but I thought it was worth pointing out.

I expect the method putter will see a sales bump.  The covert already has some good buzz going. Maybe another driver can take TayorMade's spot as number 1 in sales.

No one asked about that. Only questions about equipment was about the driver,ball,and the putter.

I took his answer on the Scotty the exact opposite. By refusing to answer the question, to me that means that he has that flexibility. Of course he is NEVER going to admit, especially his press conference and probably has to keep the method in play for some time. But I wouldn't be suprised to see the Scotty before the year is out.
