What a perfect fit for Puma. He was way ahead of all clothing companies back in the day for style and Puma has his look. Wonder if Puma has his old flip up bill hat coming out?

Nike signed DD and Puma signed JP.  Seems to be a pattern to lock in the "past prime" golfers.  Good sign for CPG IMO.

JP always had style, DD just had Oakleys and the same baggy nike s*** that TW was rocking in the late 90's.

Good for Jesper.  I always liked him as a golf personality.

Is he healed and back competing?

He just looks like a Puma guy, I have been a fan ever since he had the stones to tell TW how the cow eats the cabbage. I hope he can make a run this year and do big things.

Love JP! Always thought he was the most interesting guy out there. Part side show, part Killer out there. The guy had serious game there for a while. I hope he does well and makes some cash, maybe contends or even wins again, but honestly, after the boat thing I am just happy that he is able to grip a club and play at this level.

I would look completely ridiculous in that hat. It honestly makes me cringe thinking about it.

For those who may not remember, he has roots with Puma, as he used to wear JL-Puma collaboration shoes. Man, the JL Classics were just the coolest golf shoes...

Interesting...his style always would have fit the Puma look, but my first thought was..."will he sell Puma/Cobra to their target audience."   Puma/Cobra has struck me as a company that's a bit edgy and appeals to a more youthful audience.   Does Jesper appeal to a younger audience?

I like Jesper and I remember him when he first got on tour, but I would think many younger golfers will wonder who he is.  I wonder what their first impression would be...without knowing him...I'd think he'd kind of look like an older guy with an addiction to tanning trying to wear trendy clothes.

Just my thoughts...

I am too...I've always liked Jesper.

My post might seem critical...I'm just trying to see the marketing aspect of it...does he appeal to the target audience.   My views or perspective don't always speak for others though...

Jesper basically brought JL to the masses. I tghink for Cobra/Puma having an older guy wearing their stuff will broaden their appeal outside of the 16 year old Ricky Fowler kids (and he'll bring a hell of a lot more style than RF as well).

Don't know about most of you guys, but have started to see a lot more 40-50 some golfers wearing Puma in the last year or 2. Don't think you will see him wearing Orange on Sundays....

He's getting close to the Champions tour, isn't he?  I don't think Cobra/Puma has anybody up there.
