After telling my local Ping rep that I used the Tour Regular flex in the G20 last year, he recommended I go with the stock stiff in the G25 this year as they are very similar shafts. To me, that would seem to indicate that the Tour Stiff would play like an SX flex.

For those of you going with the G25 - what loft are you playing and how did that compare to other drivers/lofts?  I know I need to get fit but I've never had a G-series driver and am curious how it plays.  If I play a TM R11s set at 9* how would that compare to a G25 (assuming shafts are similar)?

I am playing an orignal Rapture 12 degree with a Diamana BB in R.

Love the driver and do not need any more distance, however if I wanted a more forgiving driver that is more similar to the Rapture, which would it be, the G25 or the Anser?

Let the experts speak!
Driver: Ping Rapture 12 deg w/Diamana BB
3 Wood: Ping G15 15.5 deg w/Diamana BB
5 Wood: Sonartec GS 18 deg w/GD Red Ice
Hybrid: Mizuno Fli-Hi w/KBS Tour
Irons: 5-W Ping i3+ w/KBS Tour
Wedges: Cleveland 588 Tour Issue

I'm gonna say it ... RIGHT NOW ... The G25 is probably - THE BEST driver I have ever owned.

I have 3 shafts so far for it

1. 80S Protopype - 44
2. 60X Protopype - 45 1/2
3. 80S Deep Impact - 44

I just got an Anser head .. I like it a lot !!!! ... I do see a spin difference - its definitely a low spinner  - Only been a week though - gimme some time. I hit a MONSTER shot with the 60 pype / Anser driver this last weekend

ONLY driver I have been using other than G25 - is a ZL Encore - but the 25 IS THAT GOOD ( and the occasional L4 ;) )

I have never hit a driver that is so dependable - consistent - forgiving & long - It is making golf VERY FUN for me right now

I love this driver

Tried G25 with stock Tour Stiff.  Yuck!  Lousy dispersion.  Picked up 9.5 with GD DI 6 Stiff and its party time!  A true fairway finder with excellent dispersion. Very long.  Had an Anser with Fuji Fuel and this works better for me
