Looking for the note books you always see on Tour ones that fit in your back pocket. Anyone know where to find them? Notice most on tour are leather covered?

You can buy leather scorecard covers but the notebooks you are referring to are yardage books.

Are you looking for a scorecard cover, or for diagrams of holes, etc?

scorecard cover, but I would also like a blank book to draw out my home track and make my own notes.

Here is what I did for myself and the high school team that I coach. Go to a Wal-Mart in the business/paper section and find the leather looking business card holders. The are about 4 1/2" by 7 1/2", they fit great in a back pocket. The plastic inserts can be taken out to reveal two "pockets". A properly folded scorecard will fit in these pockets perfectly. I keep note cards in there as well to write notes and "beef" it up a bit. Card stays dry and gives me something to write on as well. Cost is about $3-$4.
I had bought the TPK version for $20 some dollars and my Wal-Mart version worked much better, sold the TPK leather holder for $15 and never looked back.
You are welcome in advance

Here is one version that we used on the LPGA Tour:
http://www.seaforthr...s...yID=3&ID=17
The yardage books that we have out there have a heavyweight paper cover (about 80# Cover) and then regular 24# copy paper inside for the hole diagrams.
You can click on the link and see the detail of what each hole looks like on the pro version of a yardage book. Its not as fancy as some would think but very effective.
I have a whole storage case in the garage from all the courses the LPGA has played over the last 5 years.
Hope this helps you out. Its always fun to make your own book!!!

I'm going to guess eBay for this one. Typically they are only sold during the weeks tournament to the caddies in the caddy area or in the shop. That's been my experience getting these little books....

Really kinda surprised these aren't more common, the blank books that is....
With the affordable range finders now out on the market, I would think these blank books would become more available.
Since I received my Pinseeker 1500, I've been thinking of drawing my own for my home course.

Hey Guys, I am wondering if you both can take a picture of books and maybe explain how you use your books.
