Hey guys, is this what I need to install a shaft into my SuperDeep TP head? It is a tour issue, but that doesn't make any difference, right?

No difference in the TP as long as you get the shaft diameter correct. Those look to be all plastic , I would like the aluminum better. Could be wrong about that, never used this maker.

Hi Shank. I didn't even know there was a plastic vs. aluminum consideration. Anyone got a link to the best possible choice? I am just clueless here.

The latest R11 and RBZ adaptors are metal for sure and have more degrees of adjustability that the older R9 adaptors. Someone here can point you to the place to get the OEM fittings.

PZero, thanks. Even though it says R11s, that will still fit the R9 series, right?

+1, go with the aluminum version.  Works in all R9, R11, and RBZ versions with FCT.

Yup, I've had no problem with them fitting a R9 460, SuperDeep, Supertri, R11s, or RBZ driver.

MG - the R11 adapters on the GS link have plastic ferrules.  Nothing wrong with them, they are authentic and work great but know that if you want to pull the tip there is a high probability of not being able to save the ferrule.  Replacement ferrules are available from Golfworks (and maybe GS but I haven't checked).  I think the only all metal tips are the tour issued version.  And yes, those tips will work in R9 series woods.

Thanks everyone. It is crazy with all the ho'ing I do, but the only adjustable driver I have ever owned was the 910d3 and I never switched shafts in it. I have zero experience with all this. lol

Appreciate the help.

You can pick up replacement ferrules pretty easily. Only difference between tp and non tp tips are the shaft diameter. Tp will be .335 and non are .350. I tend to prefer the newer 1.5* tips over the older 1* ones. Allows for larger loft changes. I use one in my LD superdeep 6.5* head so I can tune it up to 8 or down to 5. Works out great for me. There are also some 2* tips out now but have not used one personally.
