this guys a real Scumbag!!

last summer i had a guy buy a shaft off me for an R11, he phones me and we got chatting, he told me he had just bought a new tour issue R11S head off ebay, i asked him "its not off DAVIDDIZZY is it?"   he said YES


i told him its FAKE guaranteed...... he seemed a little skeptical at first, but the more knowledge i gave him the more he came around. eventually he sent the Head to TM UK and they verified it FAKE

all the Tour heads this loser sells have "NO SERIAL" now WE all know very well that ALL TM TOUR  heads must have a T serial or TF / TH ect etc, woods and Iron heads also

Taylormade UK had this guys address in Manchester, and did nothing. hes still selling now. ebay received a Taylormade Headed Printed Fax confirming it was fake, and THEY refunded the guy his £300. they did not make this sh*thead refund him, paypal covered the refund


and it gets better.... i was constantly emailing ebay about this seller, and his constant FAKE clubs, and i ended up getting a Waring off ebay for "interferring" lol..... the famous ebay cover up.... they simply brushed it under the carpet...



when i first challenged him last year about the "no serial crap"  his reply was..... wait for it............ "what would you know, its all the heads with teh T serial's that are the Fakes"   ... Jerkoff

now he trys to blag buyers into believing that the small number stamped underneath the ASP plate is the "TOUR SERIAL"


arrrghhhh its makes my blood boil!!!

I have an R1 here that I got off TM rep to try, it's his demo and obviously not tour issue, but it has no serial and I can 100% confirm its authenticity.

Also have the rbz tour stage 2 fairway TP retail head but again no serial

far as i know my eyesight is perfect.... i DO NOT see a serial on the heel were it should be here....... its blank

so the 2 heads you had on ebay.... no wrap.... no serial on heel.... no 2x white stickers on the crown with serial on

i dont care what anyone says. i will never accept that a TM Rep would give someone 2 R1 heads well before release that had no serial and were "supposdley" his own Demo....... REPS have samples .... not demo's

Other than the lack of a serial number (Which I'm not sure automatically indicates a fake, especially on recently released gear), that head looks like an awfully good "fake" to me.  If it's a fake, it's the best I've seen.  

The seller has almost 300 feedback, 100% of it positive.  I'm not saying...I'm just saying.

Feedback really doesn't tell the hole story.

Many times on the forum we emphasize how the GWRX comunity doesn't represent a fraction of the golfers out there with the majority of non WRX golfers not being aware of gimmicks and marketing tricks.

Whose to say all those 300 that purchased these heads are unaware if these are real or fakes?

i personally have never had a FAKE in my possesion, but from reading on here for last 5 yrs. i know most "golfers" who dont use great sites like this would "visually" nvere be able to tell by simply looking.

first thing i would do is "magnet test" weight the head on my digi scales.... weightthe asp... etc
i TOTALLY agree that "feedback" means nothing

look at my links at the top. DAVIDDIZZY... perfect 100% posi. even though his heads have been sent in to TM UK and verified FAKE

other one "LEAH" http://www.ebay.co.u...=p2047675.l2562  this sucka's even got "top rated" status for selling FAKE r1 / RBZ stage 2 / Titleist 913 covers and the ever popular FAKE multi compound "the rubber is less than half the thickness it should be grips"  hell i'd even bet the "designer sun glasse's" this seller has are FAKE  ...................

until they sell one to the "wrong person" and NEG feedback gets left. it will carry on

...and low and behold whilst searching google today for "r1 driver china"  i see theres now websites in the EU selling New R1's for £169.00 .... thats way less than the $320 price on the china diytrade fakers site

these sites are new to me i always thought the UK sellers must be importing from the china wholesale sites

and to think people like DAVIDDIZZY will be 100% for sure getting them here.... no import duties to pay... easy profit. ebay @ £399 obo!  lol!!

Cally X HOT Pro heads again on same china website and NO SERIAL. most people in the know on golfwrx will know as well as me, that Callaway also have not been producing Tour issue Heads with NO SERIAL for a few yrs now. they all have "tour specific" serials

I'm not implying that feedback tells the whole story, however I don't think it can be completely discounted either.

Not in anyway discounting what you have said about some of the UK sellers ( Tigerd is a good guy, very well known and knows a lot of the Northern Ireland Pro's/ Top amateurs) and do not doubt that some of these sellers are selling Fake gear, only this week i messaged a guy with 0 feedback selling a RBZ stage 2 Tour 3 fairway 14.5 deg with a (wait for it) 50g stiff fujikura rocket fuel shaft, I asked him if there was a serial number and he said no, i then asked him how it came with the 50 g shaft as the retail offering had a 70/80 g shaft, he duly pulled it off Ebay.
I am however very good friends with the TM rep in the area, I am not going to say which golf club he is a member of, but when he got the samples he said come down and try them, on arriving he said can you give me a hand to put them together ( 2012 this was, R11s, RBZ stock) whilst assembling the clubs with different shafts i made a comment as to why the heads did not have serial numbers, he told me that the pre release samples did not have serial numbers ( one or 2 did but the majority did not) so i feel it is wrong to tar everyone with the same brush, but definitely agree with most of what you are saying.
