people like myself who have been using their products for almost ten years to now think about changing to another company. I mean if I have to get new shafts anyway why not?

Hypothetically TMAG sold 60% of all driver shares last year, look for that to be 50% this year, 45% the following year and so on.
So, is this like Nick Satin winning the BCS game the next 3 years but only winning by 28 points, then 21 points then 17 points?

My point is that they had strangle hold and now with this release I expect there to be breathing room for the competition.

There's a big difference between winning a football game by points and maybe loosing sales percentages. If you win by 1 or 100 you still win. If your driver market drops from 55% to 45% you just lost nearly 20% of your sales on one of your products.
Would you really care if you won by 17 or 27 in your next football game? I don't think it would bother you at all.
BUT - How would you feel if when you receive your next pay check your boss walked up to you asked you to return 20% of it back to the company? That's basically what happens when you lose market share and don't sell as many of one product.
Comparing a win to gross sales is not even close to the same thing.

What's up bro!
Everyone has a slightly different eye for these things, and you know how much a HATE a closed head. lol
The 12* looks slightly closed to my eye. But either way, it looks nothing like the 8*.
On that note, I know first-hand how fast you get the driver moving, so you can get away with the lower-loft setting in order to have an open-to-square face.
But what about the poor guy with a slower clubhead speed that NEEDS the higher loft....but is also an excellent player who hates a closed head. What is that guy supposed to do with this "one loft" program? lol

10 shot average all with same shaft
R1 12* Neutral
R1 9* Neutral
R11 12* Neutral
R11 9* Neutral
Would be cool to see how good the one loft system works and if the difference between the true loft R11 heads is on par with the difference in the adjusted R1 head, in regards to launch/spin.

If you hate a closed head, this head would help that. It all would depend on what loft you need and if you want to apply the ASP settings to it or not. It would sit stupid open at 8 and 3 open on the ASP setting.

Put out the fire! It's that loud! I am use to most loud drivers these days...I have been told it is louder then my R11s if that helps, but I think it is less loud then the RBZ Tour. When you hit in a enclosed area, all drivers seem loud. I will try the rubber o-rings again and see if this dampens it a touch.

The thing about the adjustable drivers is that it seems like smoke and mirrors. I could just take my old Launcher 460 and twist it open or closed to get less or more loft and bang, I've got an adjustable driver. And I didn't have to spend 400 bucks. I do like how shafts can be switched out. I just never got the point of adjustable drivers, FW, etc. it's good marketing though and make the industry millions.

I think you can accomplish that. 12 shaft setting with asp plate 3 open. In the r11s I went shaft lower asp closed +. Never thought in a million years I would do that....

Ouch the r11s is too loud to play.
I tried the o ring , i didn't think it made a difference , placebo effect at best. Just my opinion though

Or better yet do a trade up program where you can swap your old sleeve for the new one at a nice discounted price...I mean if you really want to take care of the loyal customer...That's what I would do.
Nice idea that would be great for current customers, but they don't have to do it to keep their crown. Ugly or not, better performance or not, they will sell as many of these as they can make to average golfers even if they temporarily piss off the enthusiasts.
No way dont see it the average golfer has no clue about open or closed faces yet what loft does to launch angle. They seriously jumped the shark with this one bet the Callaway boys on here are having a serious laugh about these responses to TM. You should see the Facebook responses....brutal.
