When I spoke to customer service yesterday (totally different matter) the guy told me they are on schedule to come out in a couple weeks (2/15).  I wanted to ask him about shipping mine early, but they were already hooking me up with a replacement Stage 2 for my dented RBZ 3 wood.....didn't want to push my luck......

Held a full set of rocketbladez tour irons. They looked ok but not much forgiveness esp in the long irons. Those long irons have like no offset and are thin, mc's almost look more forgiving

Picked up my custom order yesterday. 3-PW, CTaper stiff, STD. Loft and 1* flat, NDMC red/black grips. The faces are milled, Chrome toe and heel, and yes not much offset. They look and feel a lot like my AP2's at address. I'll be swinging them tomorrow. Can't wait. I'd post some pics, but I don't have a clue how to do it on this stupid iPad.

We discussed this in another forum. I will stick with my MC's until these new irons get played by more folks. I think the MC's are a great iron and its just that time of the year where you have all this new stuff out...The Callaway XHOT Pro 3 and 5 woods have my attention though!  Have you hit these CP?

What does the HL stand for in that tour stage wood. Is it High Loft? What is the loft of that club? And, can you tell me what it plays at length wise in the standard to the public offering. Also, this Stage 2 club, can you interchange shafts or is it glued? I am confused because I believe I have seen glued stuff and some adjustable heads as well.  It seems like the shaft may be too long therefore resulting in more distance but more dispersion left or right. I was also thinking that the standard shaft lengths in these RBladez tour irons are longer than my TM MC shafts for each respective club.  Is that correct? I ask these questions because I am not growing and I do not want my clubs to grow. Thanks in advance for answering these questions..There will be a test next week so start studying.

yes high launch, its a 16.5* 3 wood, basically a 4 wood and plays 43.5" (doesnt feel that long) i can adjust the loft 1.5* either way, i play it at 16* now and its longer then my 14.5* RBZ Tour 3 wood from last year. 255 club off the deck, 260 off the tee from my launch monitor tests.

the tour head is adjustable so shafts are interchangeable, the standard head is glued.

the standard length of the rbladez tours are the exact same standard length of the MC irons. the lofts are near identicle as well but just slightly different as you move into the long irons.

hope i answered everything for you!

Yes you have but I question the length of the 3 wood. Thinking that it may be a bit too long. When you have a chance, please compare the stage 2 3 wood at 13.5 to the Cally XHOT pro at 13.5*. Please perform a launch monitor test and let us know the difference of the length of shaft with each of these as well as all the pertinent ball speeds etc...Just when you have a chance. Thanks man!

I hit the new rocketballez tour irons, and them put a customer order in.  I currently swing the MC's from 4-PW, I havent hit outside, but on the moniters, when I crushed my MC off a sweet spot I was putting my 6 iron 180-190 yards, the 6 iron rkbldz tour was 190-200 yards for me, but I didnt have to swing as hard, and oh my goodness was this thing on the money no matter where you hit it! I hit one off the toe and i go oh dont count that one mishit before it landed and it was 177 or something really close, I thought it was a complete shank and it landed 10 yards away from my other balls.  Some might not like it, but I noticed these things go way higher, Id say my 80% clean swing wetn 20 yards higher, but still same distance, Im gonna keep both sets and wait until I get outside and do a good review, I turned around and custom order them with s100 shafts and different grips, they s*** out next friday for my custom order.  Unfortunetly i only got to test the 6 iron but going off that I prolly will def take the high clubs from the rocketballez tour because they look amazing at address and the mishits are 2nd to any iron Ive tryed so far.

I didn't think the milled on the toe on the early set wasn't out for all of us the talk about. The early runs had a milled face on the tours. I can remember seeing them at the kingdom back before the holidays.

I also remember seeing pics of non milled faces and immediately asked why. I was told they removed the milled due to quality concerns over something that didn't mean much to me at the time... Hence I forgot the reason. But I do know they removed it to to increase the cpk of the process and at the end less variation.

I didn't think much about it.  As a matter of fact I didn't like it. They only milled the toe area beyond the satin grooved area. I have never seen that before and I didn't care for it.

Ok so I hit the tours in a bay today (unfortunately not outside) and I really liked them. Feel and sound was good compared to the anser iron, the anser felt hard at impact. I need to hit them outside but I might get a set if these if they launch a decent height. This actually is a really good iron

Feel is ok, nowhere near as soft as other cast irons TM has put out. The milling is fly milled like a cast vokey Sm4 or a Cleveland wedge etc, I assure you TM is not truly hand milling any irons. The slot IMO makes them more "hollow" feeling compared to previous cast versions I've owned.

I played my set today and I have to tell you...these things are everything that Taylormade says they are!  The distance was about hard to gauge due to the wind but when every shot had great distance control.  I bought them with KBS Tour X (softstepped once) and they felt great, even my miss hits where straight and with good distance.  The ball felt great off the face and I was able to work them low and high!

You wont be disappointed!

How does the distance compare between the 7 iron and 8 iron due to the slot change?  Also, does anyone have pictures of the 8-PW soles and at address that you could post?  A friend of mine said that they were a bit chunky compared to his AP2's.....

I tested them.. I thought the long irons were very forgiving.. I lost about 3-5 yards comparing them to my mizuno mp-67s.. I thought the irons with the slot were decent clubs.. The shorter irons with the KBS stiff shaft did not meet my expectations... The lack of feel from the short irons took them out of my bag in one day... Could be that the lack of the speed slot in the shorter irons changed the feel?
