I might take USC, Texas, Oh St, or Ok if you look back over 10 years and not 4 years. I am too lazy to figure out exactly what the last 10 years but those teams have had sustained success and depending on how you rank things (how many conference championships would you trade for 1 national one) and where you time period begins and ends. Granted Alabamas run over the past 4 years is the best since Nebraska in the mid 90s but don't forgot those 5 and 6 lost seasons before Saban showed up still count. Similiarly Fl had some great Tebow years to go along with some 5+ loss seasons when Zook was running the show.

I get that you don't like the SEC, I don't either. But seriously is there any program in the entire country you'd take over Alabama, LSU, Florida, or even Auburn over the last ten years? And there aren't too many programs I'd choose over Arkansas, Georgia, and South Carolina, and they're the MIDDLE of the SEC the last ten years. The SEC isn't anymore top heavy than any other conference. I don't care if there teams haven't won every meaningless bowl, it doesn't mean as much to you when your program is used to contending for titles. Other conferences are showing up trying to prove themselves, SEC teams are having a disappointing year.

Please tell me you aren't one of those guys who thought Boise deserved a chance at the big game there for a couple years...

I'm just glad that Te'o had a bad game.  I don't mean that as heartlessly as it sounds, let me explain.  I heard a lot of people throw around the possibility that the Raiders might draft him with the 3rd pick.  Despite winning nearly every award he could win this year, I always thought Te'o was all hype.  If he can't tackle Eddie Lacy, how's he going to tackle a Jamaal Charles?

Te'o isn't all hype...  he's a great football player.   Against Bama he looked undersized, though.   It exposed a weakness, for sure.

I thought all along that Clowney was a better defensive player- Jarvis Jones, too.   But that isn't an insult against Te'o... he capitalized on his opportunities and definitely lifted ND to play at a higher level than they would have played without him.

The SEC has more than 3 teams. I love when people say SEC is so awesome with teams like Kentucky (trash), Vandy (trash) , Auburn (trash), Arkansas (trash), South Carolina (end of every season trash), Mizz trash, Tenn (trash) and more.....yes their are good teams in the SEC but cmon people, if the SEC is made up of only 3 or 4 teams then you all are correct. Alabama has something going right now but they dont make up the entire SEC. And im not claiming one conference over another, just statin facts. Dont forget about your other teams....or is that for a reason.

Yep, the SEC has more than 3 teams. Just look up a list of the recent national champions to find 4 of them...
