Global Golf has 14% off all used clubs right now. They had one so I figured for a total of $150, I figured I'd give it a try. If nothing else, I'll have a great shaft to put in an SLDR head that I'll pick up for cheap on BST when SLDR and Jetspeed Stage 2 are released.

I love TM.  Got a couple of these for well under $200.  It was an ok combo but I hit the RBZ Stage 2 Tour better.  The best overhyped club in TM history.

I'd say yes.  If the Oban works for you then the R1 really isn't a bad club at all.  I'm still playing one.  When I got fit for the latest TM (SLDR), the R1 was still posting numbers almost exactly like the SLDR was putting out.

Gg has it without hc, or tool, and it's near bottom chart condition. Still a good deal though for shaft.

Oban white in the R1 is a great combo IMO.  I replaced the 1g weight with a 4g weight and have loved it!

I received mine from the $180 deal from Carl's yesterday and was able to play 9 with it. For the money, I feel like I stole the club. Worst thing that happens is I take the Oban and use it somewhere else.

I actually like it's muted sound. Not as much feedback as my previous driver, but certainly not the worse.
