Does anyone know how this thing actully changes loft and lie?  Are the notches different depths or is the shape of the adapter irregualer in a way to bend the club heads positon? I am looking it now and still can't figure it out.  Just curious.

I think the way that it works is that each of the two rings has 4 lengths corresponding to the 4 "teeth". Each ring combination results in 4 lengths that offsets the shaft in the head to produce the loft/lie shown in the chart.  It would only take 3 lengths to get the angle so the 4th is determined by the other 3.  The rings/head fit together well and seems pretty well made.
