+1 for Bonobos and Nike modern fit.  Bonobos is great for cooler days because the material is slightly thicker than Nike.  I just picked up a pair of Nike modern fit from closeout rack at Golfsmith for $30.

That's the downfall of living in a smaller city. We have a Nike outlet but the golf section is tiny.

I dont think these would be at any outlet....big city or small city at this point

Yep, that's why I said that's the downfall of living in a smaller city.

But you do have the internet.... I have seen these on sale online

Just curious, was this a more common size or a more exotic (28 or 40)? I just bought a pair online for $45 but I might head over to Golfsmith if I thought they'd have some size 32.

If you could point me in the direction online where I can find a 32 waist in gray, khaki, or black for around $50 I'd appreciate it. I can't find them in my size in those colors to save my life.

Honeslty, Target has some pretty good pants that are a decent fit.  I always get mine fitted for about 15 bucks locally.

I have a ton of FJ pants and then the ones from target which are great quality and are like 25 bucks new.

A bag of cat treats, a used pair of adidas 360 4.0 10.5w, or a $2 bill.

But you've gotta find those 3 colors, the 32 waist, and $55 or under.

It's size 32.  Bonobos has the golf pants for $68 right now.  Personally, I prefer Bonobos over Nike because of the grip insert around the waist to keep the shirt tucked in.

Where online did you get a 32 for $45?
[/quote]

You guys should check out the Deals forum more often. I started a thread yesterday saying how I got the Dri-fit flat front shorts for $35 and Modern fit pants for $45 from teegolfclub.com.

I'd love to get the Bonobos but they're out of my size. I wonder if I call into Golfsmith to see if they have the Modern fit in my size before I'd have to drive there. $30 is a great price.

I've actually got a black and khaki pair in those. I'm in between sizes in them though. The 32s are a bit snug but the 34s are too big.

yea the 32's are a bit big on me and the 30's are too small.  I bought the 32's and got them fitted to me for 20 bucks.  Worth every penny... not to mention when they are $8.98 on sale.  So for 30 bucks I have  a perfect fitting pairs of pants.

My FJ pants are the exact same way.  the 30's are way too big for me and have to get those fitted.

That's where i get all of my Nike gear, but i don't like giving out the info because i don't want everyone to start shopping there.    They are generally 15-25% off retail and get even cheaper when they are selling items on closeout.  Also, no sales tax and free shipping.

Can't beat that!

Hello, I am looking for some slimmer fitting golf pants. I am a size 32/33 in the waist and about a 30 in length. The problem is I am not looking to spend a ton of money. $50 and under would be ideal. Any recommendations would be wonderful.

I meant to say this last night...now they are expensive and retail at 130 new but can be had for a little cheaper when the previous model goes on sale or if apperal sales are going on....but the best pants Ihave found are the Nike Tour Performance slim fitting pants.....they are not like skinnies but are not as baggy as regular golf slacks! They are made of awesome material and is Nikes highest end pants but I payed like 70 bucks on sale for them this summer when the new ones dropped and I love them...I will only wear them to be honest. They are just exacly what you want in a golf pant and we are the same size in waist but I am a 32 to 34 in length....i got 32x32 and I could have well should have got 32x33 or 33x33 but that is all they had left for the deal going on and i usually were 32x34 in jeans but thought that would be to long for the golf pants but if I had it to do over i would have maybe went with the 32x34 that were available only with the size I got. Now the new ones you can get any waist and length in and they will run high in price unless you find a sale. They are worth every penny from 70 to 130. That is all I will wear! keeps me cool in the summer and warm in the fall an cooler days and months! i cannot help you with anything else as this is all I wear but they fit great and i am a slimmer ....taller guy and they just look so nice vs baggier pants with the tighter shirts I wear!( I do not like baggy shirts playing golf either!) good Luck!

These are 34x30, but believe me, sub70 fit tight.  They have 32 in a 34 leg.

Try going to your local Marshals/ TJ Maxx/ Ross.  I found a pair of slim fit pants there for $10.  I can wear them on the course or to the office

Does anyone know if these pants are the new version of the modern?

http://www.dicksspor...1477380.4418290

http://www.dicksspor...1477380.4418290

They favor each other quite a bit.

Those are not this years version of the Modern Tech Pant.  If you read the description, they are different.  The Modern Tech Pant is a slimmer fit and has 2 flaps over the pockets on the back.  The Dri Fit Flat Front Tech pants are essentially the same pant (made with the same material i believe and v cut hem) less the slim fit and the flap over the back pockets.

2013's modern tech actually loses the flaps and instead has an outline on the pocket opening.

First off, teegolfclub has some crazy deals on Nike apparel so thanks for costing me lots of money!

mikefjohnson, I normally wear a 32/33 waist also, you don't think 34 would be too loose?

First off, teegolfclub has some crazy deals on Nike apparel so thanks for costing me lots of money!

mikefjohnson, I normally wear a 32/33 waist also, you don't think 34 would be too loose?

34s would be fine.  They fit tight in the butt and thighs, and I find there waist sizes to fit a little tighter than advertised.
