Never had a round in the 60s. Sad but true. Closest I came was a 70 at the big course at Dupont Country Club in Wilmington, DE. missed a 12-15 foot downhiller on 18 for a 69. I'll get it this summer though. Gotta keep battling...

I've shot 69 twelve to 15 times over the last 27 yrs, a couple of times in tournaments. Most recently last summer at my home track and that was my first round in the 60's there
I have had some epic fails at being lower
Example 1 .. 33 on the front with 6 birdies and a triple, followed by a sweet Hawaii 5-0 on the back
Example 2 .. 5 under thru 11, eagled 18, shot 1 under, Holes 12-17 were a total gong show or cluster _uck, I am shuddering thinking about it

73.6 rating, 145 slope, 6950 yards .. I think that makes it LEGIT
FYI > When the CPGA played my home course they didn't play the back tee on our hardest par 3 in any of the four rounds. (it is 225 over a lake to a VERY well guarded green)

Don't remember the final tally, but had 5 birdies and an eagle (-7) with only 2 bogeys that I can remember on the final day of a member guest several years ago. Par 73, so that 68 was pretty decent. But, I needed every one of those birdies. We ended up getting 12 points out of 18, even with me shooting 5 Under.
Shot 67 one night after work. Played the front with one guy, half the back with another, and finished the last two par-birdie by myself.
Not quite in the sixties, but eagled 18 one afternoon to shoot 70 with 3 doubles. That was a crazy round. (Especially at around 6,800 yards.)
Played with a guy that beat me by 9, and I shot 75. He even had 2 three putts that day. Best/worst 66 ever.

I have broke 70 4 times all on par 72 courses of varying lengths. The first time I was 17. The next time I was 25. The third time I was 32 and then the last time at 33 (last year). The last time was also on the toughest course of all of them and I double bogeyed the last hole. I think I will break 70 again this year.

Oh the dreaded last hole double
My first 69 was playing our men's club C's when I was a 17 yr old junior. A good 28 years ago. Doubled 18 to shoot 69. Leading after day 1. The men did not like the hot shot junior beating them
Ended up losing by one shot on day 2 after a triple on the 34th hole .. fortunately to another even bigger junior hot shot kid that ended up going to the US on a golf scholarship

LOL...Me? Rounds in the 60s? I was born in the 60s. Had quite a few test scores in the 60s. A round of golf in the 60s? Besides a PGA tour event, I dont even know that ive been in the area when someone else shot in the 60s. I shot 72 once and I didnt miss a shot. I dont think I can play any better.
